What are my chances of becoming pregnant at 42 ? How long after stopping Cerazette ?

Hi, why don't you pop over to the 40 plus conception thread? Actually there are two now. One is aimed at women trying to conceive their first child aged 40 plus.

Women do conceive naturally in their 40s but you will know I am sure that it is much harder to conceive and there are more likely to be problems ( I am almost 42 myself and TTc) . I once read that 1 in 20 pregnancies are now to women 40 plus, so women certainly do conceive. There is plenty of info on the web about stats of TTc at this age if you want to look it up. I like a bit of realism myself but I know some women prefer to just focus on the positive, so it is up to you if you want to research it.
Good luck!

I stopped Cerazette in feb '14. Didn't have a period till May 14 and then had long 35+ day cycles until Sept 14, when I fell pregnant...
It was a frustrating wait with the cerazette, but I got there in the end! (I'm 32).
