Gr33dyeggs · 17/02/2015 15:05

Congrats reverse I hope its an uneventful 8 months now.

amy Don't you need 3 or more solid hours of sleep to get an accurate bbt?

Amyyy27 · 17/02/2015 15:17

Greedy Yeah that's what I read that's why I'm not taking yesterday as O day, and I think I woke up with a fever which could be why my temp was so high compared to usual. Will ignore todays temp x

MsJupiter · 17/02/2015 16:34

Snoopy I'm so sorry. Hmm

gennibugs · 17/02/2015 19:16

congratulations reverse. I think I'll feel numb if I ever get a BFP again too. Hope all goes smoothly for you.

ladydoc · 17/02/2015 19:21

Never felt so pleased about AF starting. Hoping for a fresh start and TTC again next week. Feeling scared but trying to stay optimistic. How's everyone else tonight?

chasingtherainbow · 17/02/2015 19:43

snoopy.. I am so, so sorry. There are no words. It's so unbelievably cruel. Flowers

I got a pos opk (solid smiley) this AM Cd9. Knew it was way too early and had a negative (blank face) an hour later (nice waste of two sticks! Hmm ) grrr it's a dtd night tonight and dh is out till 11 and I know we'll both be exhausted, argh!

brickiemum2 · 18/02/2015 06:58

Good luck ladydoc I'm 6 days post erpc and bleeding has slowed and gone like the end of af. I'm going to poas tomorrow and hopefully get a bfn. If that's the case I may attempt to be really optimistic and use opk from next week. I know it's in no way guaranteed that that I will ov and I may just start a wtf cycle but it worked for me before so I'll give it a shot.
That's assuming I get a bfn though. Epas seemed to think I should as I was scanned after erpc so that would've shown if anything was left. They said if don't get a bfn by next week I've to go in for scanning and blood work.

ladydoc · 18/02/2015 07:25

Fingers crossed Brickie.....let's get some bfp's this month!

brickiemum2 · 18/02/2015 07:49

With a bit of luck Grin Obviously that would be the ultimate goal for me but realistically I just want to feel like I'm moving forward. I found out that my bean wasn't developing on the 29th Jan and it's been a long wait to get it resolved and become "not pregnant" again as it was a mmc and the sac etc was still developing. Looking to the future feels a lot better than that long wait knowing that there was only one outcome Sad

TeenieDeenie · 18/02/2015 09:35

Hi all, just catching up...

Snoopy I'm so, so sorry Flowers

Brickie FX for a bfn

Ladydoc Good luck this cycle, FX! Smile

Reverse Massive congrats to you, here's to a happy healthy and utterly boring pregnancy!

CD25 here, nearing the end of my first cycle. Will test at the weekend.

gennibugs · 18/02/2015 11:12

Morning all

brickie fx for a bfn for you soon. I got my bfn yesterday, in a tiny way it has helped me move forward and get some closure. I have started opks and am back temping too, even though I know this is my WTF cycle I thought I might as well. I have had of ladies who get their BFP in their WTF cycle.

ladydoc good luck for this cycle - AF always used to feel like a fresh start to me when I was previously ttc.

I have decided to go back to work on Monday. Dreading it already, I hate my job anyway, I dreaded going in most days pre MC but now it's just ten times worse as my heart isn't in it. Hoping it won't be as bad as I fear, but I know I have to go back sometime. I need to manage my feelings as best as I can as I know stress ain't good for the old ttc either.

gennibugs · 18/02/2015 11:13

Fx teenie - have you had any symptoms or anything?

HeavenKnowsImMiserableNow · 18/02/2015 12:01

Hi all, I did a slightly early test this morning and got a very faint pink line after about 20 mins. I'll do another test at the weekend to check its a keeper.

Am torn between grinning like an idiot Grin and playing it cool cos I'm scared this lil bean will bail on me like the last one Sad.

Snoopy sending you big hugs Flowers

ReverseTheTrend · 18/02/2015 12:02

Thanks all lines not getting any darker so not feeling very positive.

Also have sinus infection and feel like rubbish which doesn't help

brickiemum2 · 18/02/2015 12:46

genni and everyone else, how long is it reasonable to take off work? I was signed off for two weeks from the discovery of the mmc until the actual surgery then I'm signed off for two weeks after. It feels like a long time to be off but in the other hand I feel nowhere near east to be back at work Sad
On a side note I'm still getting a strong bfp so no ttc for me any time soon Sad

Amyyy27 · 18/02/2015 13:00

genni hope work goes ok as can be!

I was in same boat as you I didn't want to go back to work after MC and never had wanted to be there before, but getting pg stopped me from looking elsewhere. They wanted me back after 2 weeks, although the first week I found out about the mmc on Monday and went back on the Thursday that week for medical management. And that was thanks to them booking the other full time girl on a course AFTER I had my MC and was still off work. Idiots. I gave myself a break over Christmas and have started looking for a new job this year and am in the middle of interviews currently. I know some will think that's reckless when TTC but so is staying in a stressful work place for pennies!

Brickie there is no definite answer, whatever feels right for you. Like I said I had 2 weeks off and that was nowhere near long enough for me. I think 4-6 weeks would have helped me. Don't feel rushed back to work it will only cause you more stress. Sorry about the bfp, I know its heartbreaking to keep seeing that line Flowers x

northdownmummy · 18/02/2015 13:16

I was off work for 2 weeks. I'd dreaded going back but in hindsight it was the best thing for me. Having something else to think about stopped me just churning the "what ifs " round and round in my head.

Everyone is different, just don't be pressured to go back earlier than you feel ready

gennibugs · 18/02/2015 13:18

amyy I hope the interviews work out ok and you get a great new job. I'm glad you had a break over Christmas after all that pre the holidays. I don't think it's reckless at all, I'm starting to look for a new job too. I kept putting it off in the hope I'd fall pregnant and need mat pay, but now after 15 months of ttc I'm back to square one and the thought of being in the same job in 15 months time if it takes that long again to get a BFP fills me with dread. Life's too short!

brickie I'll have had 3.5 weeks off when I go back on Monday. I feel like possibly I need longer but equally I feel like I perhaps need to try my hand at getting back some normality. Plus if I had my way I'd never ever go back! I'm just going to see how it goes. Take as long as you need off - be it 4 weeks or 8 weeks or whatever, the most important thing is that you are feeling ready to go back.

reverse I think hcg doubles every 48 hours so you should hopefully see a slightly darker line tomorrow?
