mrs D, I used it when we conceived DS and didn't have any probs even on first cycle but yeah I suspect you're right and the mc is confusing it Hmm. It is v annoying mainly because I don't think we can keep up with DTD for much longer Blush!
epskie no experience with thrush, sorry. Could the spitting maybe be the start of your period? Or it could just maybe be things settling down still. Can you call your EPU?

Allthequeenshorses · 12/03/2015 21:17

Oh my goodness, chasing'im so sorry for missing this!! Flowers wifi nightmares this week but massive congratulations.

mrsc thinking of you today.

cariad'there you are...hello .my mother in law just had a litter of poo puppies. Love love love them. I'm trying to persuade dh that we should get another wee pup but he's not having it at the moment. Reckons two is enough. Puh. Plenty more room, although maybe not in the bed!

Allthequeenshorses · 12/03/2015 21:19

Sorry epskie no experience of thrush either but like romeo suggests I would call epu if you can. The poor lady there must hate me but she is always so helpful.

mrsdiddlydoo · 12/03/2015 21:40

epski I would speak to a gp about the thrush tomorrow. They should be able to give you a stronger cream to relieve the symptoms. Not an expert but you could try taking a probiotic supplement (try boots or a health shop). Might have more goid bacteria than the yogurts. Ds gets oral thrush if he has antibiotics so we give him a supplement with breakfast. It should pass eventually. There are loads of home remedies but I've not tried them. Natural yogurt down there for eg. Cotton pants... Nothing synthetic... Hope it clears up quickly. Not sure about the spotting. If its light its probably just your body trying to figure out what's going on. Ask epu if you are concerned.

mrsdiddlydoo · 12/03/2015 21:41

Bloody typos tonight... Good not good!!

HariboBrenshnio · 12/03/2015 22:01

My period arrived as I new it would. Have relieved that it was a normal cycle and I ovulated when I thought I did, half gutted for a BFN. Still plan to take our TTC break until June/July.

Re thrush: Iv suffered badly in the past. There's two options for when it won't budge. The first is the canestan combined from boots, it's a pill and cream and does work. The other is a pessary which your GP can give and I think you can buy over the counter. You pop it up your foof and thrush magically disappears I promise you! Cream alone has never worked for me.

HariboBrenshnio · 12/03/2015 22:02

Also, bad thrush can cause bleeding which could explain your spotting so it's best getting it cleared up. If it's been over a week it must be really horrible.

MrsConfusion · 12/03/2015 22:03

Epskie sorry about thrush, how horrid, do get it checked if at all unsure. I had an infection after erpc which took a little while to show itself.

Romeo my cycles are always odd after mc, after first ovulated much earlier then after second much later. Sounds like you have been putting in great effort so fx!

First proper bout of hysterical crying today. Ouch. Much easier to focus on physical pain than try to process the head and heart pain. This too will pass. Thanks to all for your support, you're amazing.

HariboBrenshnio · 12/03/2015 22:05

Just seen you've had a pressary, have another one. There's no limit on them and they will stop it and try get the tablet too.

(Sorry for all the posts!!)

Romeolovesjuliet · 12/03/2015 22:31

Oh Mrs C, wish I could say/do something to make you feel better. You've been through so much in such a short space of time and I imagine it must be difficult to even begin processing it all. Do you have anyone to talk things through with other than DH (if you indeed want to share with anyone - I wanted to keep my first mc very private but with this last one have wanted to talk to anyone who will listen!)?
You're right, it will pass and better times are ahead but that doesn't make it any less shit for now. Thinking of you x

mrsdiddlydoo · 13/03/2015 13:08

Hysterical crying is allowed mrsC. You can't be strong all the time. It takes time for events to sink in and you've had a rollercoaster of a week. Crying always makes me feel better in the long run. How are you doing today? I hope your dh is ok too. Have you had much chance to talk to him about this experience.

The weekend's nearly here ladies. Think I'm going to bake a big chocolate cake tomorrow. And then eat it. Nom.

Romeolovesjuliet · 13/03/2015 13:29

I second the need for hysterical crying Mrs C- it's inevitable really.
Well, after moaning last night I got my peak this am. For some reason I woke at 5am so decided to go to the loo then - lucky as it meant I had chance to jump DH before he left for work as he's out tonight and will be back late in who knows what state. I did have to bribe him a little but I'm quite pleased with my efficiency!!
Epskie - how are things today?

Gr33dyeggs · 13/03/2015 13:36

Epskie I had bad thrush around mc and after. When I got my period so knew I wasnt pg, I hit it with everything. I took the oral tablet and then a couple of pessaries over 2 nights and cream to relieve the itching. Since it went I've been eating natural yogurt a few times a week and not wearing underwear at night and its not returned. .... yet, despite stress which is a common trigger for me.

MrsC I think hysterics are allowed after everything you've been through. I had natural mcs with no intervention and went through some big down moments so can't imagine how it is for you.

MrsConfusion · 13/03/2015 14:21

Chocolate cake MrsD? Right, we're coming to your house! Yum! Cake

Hope the thrush is easing epskie, horrid horrid feeling and just not fair on top of everything else you've been through. Flowers

epskie · 13/03/2015 16:43

Thanks ladies, trying everything again seems to be favourite :-) hugs to you MrsC xx

And chasing I missed my postman today so I think he tried to deliver the package, that was quick! Thank you so much, I hope they're lucky for me too! Xx

chasingtherainbow · 13/03/2015 17:23

Aww how annoying! All I had left to send them in was a box so wasn't letterbox size (though I don't think you'd want digi stuff dropping through the letterbox I guess anyways)!

CarrotPuff · 13/03/2015 19:09

Did someone mention cake? A piece this way please!

Epskie I would second (or third) trying everything - it can get pretty nasty and drive you up the wall. I also had it post mc, I guess it's quite common.

Still no AF here. If she doesn't show up by tonight I'm officially late. But got BFN again this morning. I guess it's just an annoyingly long cycle... Going to test again on Monday morning if still nothing, but not holding out much hope...

My poor DS got a vomiting bug. We thought he was just car sick, but he kept throwing up when we got home. My poor baby... I hope it's just one day thing as last time and he's back to normal tomorrow...

mrsdiddlydoo · 13/03/2015 20:26

Yes I think cake all round CakeCakeCake it is the weekend after all Smile i've abandoned my dh who is doing diy for a bottle of Wine...

Hope ds feels a bit better soon carrot

CarrotPuff · 14/03/2015 10:06

Thanks MrsD. DS is feeling better, and even ate a bit of porridge this morning, although he has diarrhoea now... I hope it doesn't last!

AF got me this morning. 30 day cycle. Normally 26, give or take 2 days. Anyone else's cycles were a bit longer/shorter after mc? Wtf cycle was 31d.

epskie · 14/03/2015 12:22

chasing definitely don't want that in my house - my dog thinks anything that's posted through our door is evil and needs to be chewed beyond all recognition!

Got them from the PO, thank you :-) I've got a good feeling about them! FX
X

chasingtherainbow · 14/03/2015 13:06

Me too! :-D

MelonMelon · 14/03/2015 13:51

Hi Ladies. Looking for support on how to stay positive as due date approaches Sad on cycle 3 of ttc since losing baby last August and my next AF is due on my due date of 2nd April. Hoping for a miracle, putting so much pressure on myself to conceive this cycle. Not sure how I'll get through due date if I'm not pregnant.

Bristolian1 · 14/03/2015 15:28

Oh Melon I'm in just the same boat - EDD for last MMC was beginning of April. I'm out for this month now so don't think a BFP is possible in time for the EDD now. Actually feel OK though now the pressure is off for this month again. Sending hugs Flowers

MelonMelon · 14/03/2015 17:20

Sorry for your loss Flowers I've been ok up until recently But a combination of the EDD and some pretty invasive tests by my GP (all came back normal) has made me feel a but fragile. Are you thinking of marking the day in any way?

Cariad2014 · 14/03/2015 17:32

Waves back at AlltheQueens - how are you doing my lovely? I really hope this is YOUR Month - a little Christmas pudding of a baby would be just fab!

Feeling really blue today. I think it's a combination of tomorrow being Mother's Day, my first EDD just passing, my forthcoming Birthday and the fact that I'm in the midst of a baby boom in real life. I just feel that everyone else is moving forward, celebrating their first Mother's Day as mummies etc. whilst we're stuck behind contemplating an uncertain (possibly childless) future...
