mrsdiddlydoo · 09/03/2015 18:47

Sleep fixes lots of things (as well as Brew and lots of Cake nom nom nom). Hope you've got some cake and/or chocolate mrsC x

MimiDoddrioni · 10/03/2015 12:46

Hi all, it's the poster fka HeavenKnowsImMiserableAgain.

Congratulations chasingand fif, and any other ladies with BFPs that I've missed Flowers. This thread moves fast.

Well it looks like MC 2 has run its course, the bleeding has stopped and I got a bfn this morning. So provided my follow up scan doesn't find anything still camped out in my womb tomorrow, I guess me and dh are back to ttc.

HariboBrenshnio · 10/03/2015 12:56

Congratulations to the new BFP.

How are you today Mrs C?

I know technically it's not over until AF arrives but it's due tomorrow and BFN this morning. Pretty sure I'm out. DP and I have decided to take a few months off to try save my sanity. Im struggling to handle the constant disappointment and not be a weepy bitter mess which my lovely DS doesn't deserve as a mum. I'm going to join the gym, lose some weight, get drunk a lot more and start TTC again in the summer for a hopeful spring baby.

Good luck for those waiting, I'll check in every now again Smile

Hope you're ok - you know where I am xx

Amyyy27 · 10/03/2015 13:25

Mimi I hope everything is ok at the scan Flowers

Haribo hope you are ok Flowers

CarrotPuff · 10/03/2015 14:43

Good luck Haribo, I hope you get your spring baby Flowers

How are you feeling MrsC? Thinking of you Flowers

Still no AF here. I'm starting to get my hopes up... Which I don't want to, I just don't want the disappointment...

CarrotPuff · 10/03/2015 14:44

Good luck with the scan Mimi!

MrsConfusion · 10/03/2015 15:45

Surgery, now. Oh crap. They've promised to look carefully before removing tube. Oh god.

I wish I hadn't phoned this morning when tummy hurt

chasingtherainbow · 10/03/2015 15:54

Mrs C I think it's a good idea to go in for surgery..but I do know how utterly terrifying it is to be facing surgery. I also started saying things like "you know I'm not in much pain at all now"

And the drs just looked at me like Hmm

the eptopic isn't going to resolve itself and presumably they've ruled out other management ways. Have they worked out what's going on with the sac in the right place?

Thinking of you xxxxxx

Amyyy27 · 10/03/2015 16:40

Thinking of you MrsC Hope it goes the best it can do and you are coping as well as can be Flowers xx

mrsdiddlydoo · 10/03/2015 20:04

Well sorry if its Hmm but I'm very glad you called them when your tummy hurt this morning mrsC . if there is a risk of something being ectopic the end result could be worse than losing a tube. Hope the surgery goes as best as it can and we hear from you soon. Thinking of you. You know where we all are Flowers xx

chasingtherainbow · 10/03/2015 20:24

Mrsdiddlydoo- I meant, they gave me the Hmm look, because they knew I was trying to backtrack and get out of surgery because I was terrified!

MrsConfusion · 10/03/2015 20:41

Op done, lost right tube. Drugs weren't an option chasing as it was already bleeding so too damaged to save. 5-6 week size. Think I'm in shock. Luckily that is dulling the new indignity of using a commode on a ward! I might write a book on 50 shades of indignity....

Suspect I'll crash when I realise this is real.

Ok, news from the outside world please. Any news, thoughts, worries - you ladies are amazing and I'm sorry for turning this thread into the live blog of my experience. Selfish!

chasingtherainbow · 10/03/2015 20:57

Not at all selfish.

Flowers Flowers Flowers

Have been thinking of you all day. I'm sorry you've lost your tube in all of this- however iir. . Your chances of not having another ectopic are greatly improved by having removed the damaged tube.. so that's good to know for future ttc if you ever feel ready again. I hope you recover really really quickly my love.

If you ever need to talk privately. Please do pm me. X

Romeolovesjuliet · 10/03/2015 21:00

Mrs C , you are anything but selfish! I hope you are comfortable and they are looking after you well. Do you know how long you will be in hospital for?

Amyyy27 · 10/03/2015 21:10

MrsC you are far from selfish my love! You get anything you want off your chest on here.. anything at all! Sorry you are having to go through this you dont deserve it Sad thinking of you and we are here for you xx

mrsdiddlydoo · 10/03/2015 21:20

chasing I didn't even notice your Hmm! Sorry for any confusion. Confused

mrsC I'm glad you've made it through to the other side. And by that i mean coming round from surgery. I'm sorry you have lost a tube but it sounds like they did what was needed. You are being so brave. And strong. You must be so shocked. My best friend lost a tube cos it ruptured last year with an unknown pregnancy that was ectopic. We nearly lost her. It was a scary experience that brings tears to my eyes thinking about it. I'm very glad they have fixed you and you sought help.

Right that's probably not going to help anyone. Can someone please explain why i've put one born every minute on TV?!? Wtf. I just don't help myself.

Wishing AF would arrive. Not due til Friday but hoping for a Wednesday appearance for no reason other than last cycle was on the short side. I've been sad enough to collate all the info i have on my TTC efforts over the last 14 months (only from a calendar... Don't use apps) and trying to plan our TTC efforts next month. I'm officially bonkers. Sat with chocolate drinking hot chocolate. Helps I find. Grin

fififolle · 10/03/2015 21:41

MrsC you are far from selfish. Please continue to post on here as often as you need to. I'm glad to hear that the op has been done, it's a real shame that the tube had to be taken but obviously the Drs did what was needed to ensure your safety. You will have quite a few ups and downs over the next few days/weeks, we're all here to offer you any help and support that you need. Take care, sleep well.

You were asking for news from the outside world...Jeremy Clarkson has allegedly bopped his producer and Top Gear has been cancelled this Sunday!

MsJupiter · 10/03/2015 23:51

So sorry to read about the tube MrsC but very glad you are ok. We are all here for you and no-one thinks you are remotely selfish.

MrsConfusion · 11/03/2015 06:52

Fifiolle that clarkson news made my night!! Thank you Grin

MrsD sounds really scary about your friend. In some ways having no choice made it easier - consultant came in and said we're doing this, right now. And apparently only having one tube doesn't halve your chances as it kind of whooshes round to point at the relevant ovary... (I may have still been addled at that point so need to do some research before I believe it).

Hopefully home today.

Amyyy27 · 11/03/2015 07:19

MrsC hope they send you home, take care Flowers

CarrotPuff · 11/03/2015 08:16

I hope you get to go home today MrsC, make sure you have lots of TLC provided! Keep posting, thinking of you Flowers

chasingtherainbow · 11/03/2015 08:30

Mrs C it's true! Your body compensates for the loss and I believe your chances are only reduced by something tiny like 10-15% .. I know of two close friends who lost their tubes. One is 34 wks now and the other had hers Christmas eve! Xx

MrsConfusion · 11/03/2015 12:55

Thanks chasing that's v good to hear. On way home, can't wait to snuggle into own bed, although I'll miss the lovely nurses (and their lovely drugs!).
