MrsC I wouldn't go into work tomorrow if I were you. As for weekend plans, mine went to pot. I'd been looking forward to a carvery with friends but it got cancelled last minute and i ended up on pasta. I hope you manage to get some sleep.

fififolle · 08/03/2015 21:02

MrsC I'm so sorry to hear that you're going through this. It is such a tough time with the crazy blood loss along side crashing emotions and crazy hormones. Night time pads, old pants, cozy pyjamas, blanket and sofa will be the best combo. Sleep where and when you can, try to remember to eat- keeping your blood sugar up will help. Thinking of you xx

MrsConfusion · 08/03/2015 22:04

Thank you so much ladies, you're amazing.
Doc called, hcg has dropped from 483 to 436, so he's booked repeat bloods and repeat scan for weds. I'll phone my gp tomorrow as apparently she needs to refer me to recurrent mc clinic, not the hospital doctors. I'm also not convinced that there's no infection (hospital doc thought not but that doesn't explain the 11 daya of spotting, pain and swelling!) so I'll ask if gp has swab results. I think I need a biology degree to understand all this!

I won't go into office tomorrow, I'll stay home and only work if I feel up to it. I suspect the emotion crash won't hit until physical side is better...

Thank you so much for all your wisdom and support, you are an amazing group.

Amyyy27 · 09/03/2015 06:52

MrsC i admire how amazingly brave you are. Im so angry at the world that people like you and the other ladies on here have to go through hell and back. Its so unfair. Hope you get some answers. Flowers

fififolle · 09/03/2015 07:15

There is light at the end of the long tunnel.
I've got my BFP this morning- 4th cycle post MMC.
Thank you so much to everyone for their help and support during tough times.

Gr33dyeggs · 09/03/2015 07:51

Congrats fififolle!

How are you feeling today MrsC?

Amyyy27 · 09/03/2015 08:12

Congrats again fifi Grin

chasingtherainbow · 09/03/2015 08:23

Congratulations fifi! ! So lovely to have a flurry of bfp's.

MrsC how are you this morning?

MrsConfusion · 09/03/2015 09:05

Congratulations fifiolle, such lovely Monday morning news!
I got up this morning feeling determined to tackle the day but now I've retreated back to bed as cramps are the worst yet. Ouch. On paracetamol and codeine and hot water bottle.
We had a scary hour last night when my shoulder started hurting, but decided it was from sitting twisted on sofa, and it seems ok this morning. Phew!
Thinking very much of all those with whispered BFPs, take it one day at a time, remember today you are pregnant.

GirlSailor · 09/03/2015 11:08

So glad you haven't gone into work MrsC. I didn't take any time off and was far too exhausted and you seem to be really going through it. I hope you feel better soon. Flowers

So happy for all the new bfps!!!

CarrotPuff · 09/03/2015 11:25

So sorry about what you're going through MrsC, be kind to yourself Flowers

fififolle · 09/03/2015 12:02

Thank you so much MrsC. I wanted to keep details to a minimum as I know you're havkng such a tough time. I'm glad that you haven't gone in to work. Make sure you take enough time off. The emotions hit in waves and I certainly went back too early. Flowers

mrsdiddlydoo · 09/03/2015 14:20

What a successful thread this has been for bfps. Congratulations Fifi!

I think we all feel similar about how awesome it is to hear pregnancy news on here. It"s different to baby bombs everywhere else. Can't explain why but it is. Wishing AF to arrive so we can start TTC again.

I'm glad you aren't at work mrsC. You are being so strong. And brave. Hope things ease off quickly. Any more shoulder pain, please get it checked out x

chasingtherainbow · 09/03/2015 14:29

I have half a pack of clear blue smiley face opk. (5 sticks. . Rrp 23quid for 10!) Does anyone want to finish off my lucky pack for price of postage? I'd love to see someone make use of them and I'd be over the moon if it was a bfp cycle! X

Bristolian1 · 09/03/2015 14:56

MrsC glad to hear you are looking after yourself. So sorry you're going through this Flowers
Congrats fifi this certainly is looking like a lucky thread!!
My AF arrived for sure yesterday so at least the 2 (or in my case 2-3!) ww is finally over! Hooray!! I am just glad there is no more uncertainty.

GirlSailor · 09/03/2015 15:38

Yes, great to hear all the bfp news!

Wondering if any of you will have any experience that might explain things for me? I used opks this month following mc to see if things were back on track. If I count first proper day of mc bleeding as day 1 (just spotting the day before), then I'm currently on cd 18. I had a positive on opk on cd 14, which is later than I usually ov I think, as I'm usually on a 26ish day cycle, but was sooner than I was expecting as the nurse in the epu told me that it might be 4-6 weeks after the bleeding stopped before af finally came back.

I was initially really pleased as thought my body was bouncing back ahead of schedule, but I'm now 3dpo and getting terrible af type cramps and nausea. Feels like the sort of thing I usually get on the day af usually arrives. Has anyone else had anything similar? Is af on the way so early? Can you ov only a couple of days before af?

I was really pleased to get the positive on the opk as I was prepared for a long cycle but thought that if I ov'd on cd15 then it would be around 28 days, not 18... I guess this is why it's the wtf cycle!

TeenieDeenie · 09/03/2015 15:44

Congratulations Fiffi, such lovely news for a Monday morning! Smile

MrsC, look after yourself and give yourself time to recover. I hope you have lots of support in RL, you definitely do on here! Hugs. x

Happy to report that after 43 days AF has finally arrived. (And breathe...) It seems quite light at the moment so will just keep an eye on it. I'm really hoping that my period will 'clean me out' if that makes sense. Hopefully clear the excess cm inside and lessen the cramps/pains I've been having. I finish my antibiotics tomorrow too, not sure they've done anything but good to know that if there was any internal infection they will have helped.

Would also just like to say another big thank you to the ladies on this thread. I only have a few people I can talk to about these things in RL as I kept my pregnancy and mc a secret. It's a breath of fresh air to come on here to talk about my fears/worries/problems etc and not be judged or have people only half-listening or rolling their eyes. It also gives me hope seeing all these BFPs that one day soon it might be my turn. X

Amyyy27 · 09/03/2015 15:53

Girl I had cramps and nausea from 3-4dpo and got a bfp this cycle so I wouldn't worry just yet. At the same time with the wtf cycle anything can happen!

Sorry for the ladies where AF has arrived but pleased you are feeling positive about starting a new cycle Flowers

chasingtherainbow · 09/03/2015 16:02

I also had v strong cramping and mild nausea 1-3dpo and a bfp!

Teenie Flowers .. This thread feels like home. X

GirlSailor · 09/03/2015 16:11

Thanks Amyyy I guess af will show up when she pleases!

I'm not even thinking about a bfp this month but hope it's not a weirdly short cycle or who knows how long I will have to wait for it to get back to normal. Grrr.

I don't remember any of this from last month when I was pg, but then I don't want a repeat of how that ended up anyway!

WTF all the way!

GirlSailor · 09/03/2015 16:12

Thanks chasing Always get more thoughtful answers here anywhere else!

MrsConfusion · 09/03/2015 16:59

GIrlsailir, the WTF cycle is very aptly named, anything can happen so it's hard to try to apply the usual rules! I had one AF 5 weeks after when I still had hcg in my system, and another time dead on 28 days. Don't panic!

Teenie hope AF 'resets' things for you. My body seemed to need an AF to finish off the mc, if that makes any sense. New cycle, new start.

This thread is brilliant, feels more real than RL at the moment, and I totally agree that BFPs on here are not baby bombs, they make me happy and give me hope. Please keep sharing what's happening in your worlds Smile

I spoke to my gp this morning who, bless her, was lovely and supportive and agreed she's confused too and can't get the numbers to add up (glad it's not just me!). She's put me back into antibiotics (strep b detected on Thursday's swabs). Oh well, at least I'm a mystery Shock

Just had 3 hr sleep on sofa. Sleep is good.

CarrotPuff · 09/03/2015 17:39

AF should arrive this week for me. I think tomorrow or Wed. Although I don't feel it. Don't really feel anything, but I would be extremely surprised if I got BFP this month, as we've only DTD on CD7! But then it would be nice - my EDD would be DS's bday... Oh well, we'll see!

Gr33dyeggs · 09/03/2015 17:42

Sleep is a great remedy mrsC. After my nov mc I slept each afternoon for 4 days.

chasingtherainbow · 09/03/2015 17:56

MrsC I found it felt more like real life here too. I think esp when hardly anyone knows you suddenly feel so detached from your world. You sound so amazingly strong xxx
