Hi Tolly, sorry for your loss.

With the negative hpt and the bleeding ending, it sounds like it has probably all gone. I would maybe go to gp about your other symptoms. It is probably not related but no harm in going. They may like you to have some antibiotics just in case.

Thanks for the well wishes guys, hope you all get you BFP's soon, fingers crossed for you all xxx

Amyyy27 · 28/02/2015 06:58

brickie i never had my blood tested so im unsure sorry! Hopefully another lady can give you some advice or give your epau a ring. Hope you get some answers Flowers

guy i have put exactly 10lb on after mc too Blush i just camt stop eating chocolate!!

tolly sorry for your loss Flowers i never had a scan after my mc and it took me 5 weeks to get a BFN so it sounds like everything would have passed. However like guy said i would go to gp just to be on the safe side.

Gr33dyeggs · 28/02/2015 08:32

Brickie I don't think that is high. With a successful pregnancy it rises really quickly ( doubling every few days I think) so it just takes a while to come back down. I had a natural mc and had figure of 11 and 5, 4 and 5 ish weeks later. But anything under 25 is considered negative.

tolly I think your symptoms are likely unrelated to your mc. They sound more like gastroenteritis or norovirus. I'd try and rest and keep hydrated (flat pepsi or lemonade or just cooled boiled water). With such an early loss I'm not sure whether there would be much tissue to scan to check all has gone. Blood hcg might be better. Flowers Hope you're feeling better soon.

Tollygunge · 28/02/2015 08:50

Thanks, guys. Feeling heaps better today. Am currently waiting for a letter detailing some tests I mighg want to have for clotting disorders following the last 2 losses, one of which was caused by a mahoooosive subchorionic Hematoma. I have been told I can have tests on nhs but I will have to wait so I'm going private. UCH consultant recommended Portland but didn't give me a name. Can anyone recommend an understanding private consultant in London? The thing is, all docs are convinced that I've just been extremely unlucky- the first two and prob this last one aren't connected and uch seem pretty certain I've not got a clotting disorder but might be worth checking it out. I just feel like I want to get it all checked asap for the sake of confidence.

Baby bombed.
Doesn't usually bother me. This one is someone I don't like which for some reason makes me really angry.

TeenieDeenie · 28/02/2015 10:12

Morning all! Baby bombed first thing on fb, someone I'm not keen on, only seen it as friends had commented on the pics... Grrr...

Day 35 here, one week late, another negative test on a FRER. Still cramping and lots of pressure just above pubic bone, does not feel or look like period is on its way anytime soon and CM still creamy. My wtf cycle was 35 days, looks like this ones gonna be longer! Hmm Any ideas ladies???

ladydoc · 28/02/2015 10:51

I know what you mean teeny. I get the feeling that my cycles are all to pot too. I'm usually really regular and can spot signs of ov etc, but i am on cd13 today and feel nothing. Opk still negative. Just want my body to go back to normal but i guess it will do so when it's ready. Frustrating isn't it?

How is everyone else today? I'm trying to distract myself from ttc, and have signed up for the British Heart Foundation Dechox. Giving up chocolate for March to raise money (and lose my weight gained from comfort eating). Hope you all have a nice relaxing weekend x

MsJupiter · 28/02/2015 11:23

Another one with crazy cycles. Mine were long anyway but in this first cycle after WTF I have no idea what's going on. CD38 now. Tested this morning and nothing, then checked later and thought I saw a faint line but then couldn't see it again so I think my eyes were playing tricks on me. DH says definitely nothing there. Think I spent too long looking at that black/blue/white/gold dress yesterday...

Sorry to those who've been baby bombed. I'm meeting up with some friends on Thursday, one of whom is due just before my due date and I'm dreading hearing about it - one friend in the group knows about my mc but the others don't and I would feel horrible telling them when the pg one will be all happy and excited.

TeenieDeenie · 28/02/2015 11:34

Ah sorry to hear that you are also having crazy cycles lady and jupiter...

How long were your cycles usually Jupiter? Have you had any weird cramps/cm/symptoms?

MsJupiter · 28/02/2015 17:28

They used to be around 32-36 days so 38 is still in the realms of normal but pushing it a bit. The only ewcm I've had was on CD10 and had a tiny bit of blood so I was hopeful that was ovulation. I haven't had any symptoms since - my pregnancies have both featured implantation bleeds and I've had nothing like that. So I think it's just a long annoying cycle and I will have to wait a bit longer for my body to get back to normal. Frustrating. Are you using FMU for your tests Teeny?

MsJupiter · 28/02/2015 17:29

Sorry, ewcm was CD20, not 10.

mrsdiddlydoo · 28/02/2015 21:27

tollygunge sorry to hear about your latest loss. I'm not able to recommend anyone private but the ladies on the recurrent mc thread in the mc section of talk might be able to help. They are amazing.

ladydoc · 01/03/2015 08:43

Been using the cb dual hormone fertility test this month, and am a bit confused. Should be due to ov tomorrow (going by dates). The pack says you would usually get 2-3 days of flashy smiley faces first, but I have had nothing until today it went straight to a solid smiley. I had been worried about the lack of flashy smiley results. Hopefully my solid smiley is good news though Grin.

How are you all doing today? Xx

MsJupiter · 01/03/2015 09:02

I've never used the cb test but the smiley face Smile sounds good - go for it!

I spent an hour this morning peering at a pg test to see if there was a line, then went to the loo and AF had started. Super. Hmm

ladydoc · 01/03/2015 10:59

That's so frustrating Jupiter. I hope that this month brings a fresh start and that your cycles start to settle down again Flowers

MsJupiter · 01/03/2015 12:21

Thank you - hope that smiley face converts into a nice BFP for you in a couple of weeks!

Another one here who gained weight during the post-mc blues (Christmas didn't help either) and I went back to SW in January a stone heavier Shock than the start of my pregnancy in September. Since then I've dropped 7.5lbs so it's been slow going but I feel like it's one positive thing I can focus on, to make myself as healthy as possible for a future pregnancy.

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 01/03/2015 15:34

TWW is doing my head in. Mostly because I want a big gin and tonic today.

OP posts:
TeenieDeenie · 01/03/2015 15:42

Glad AF finally arrived Jupiter and I hope your cycles settle down and are a bit shorter! Yes I've been using fmu but not even a squinter for me. I had some drinks last night as it's unlikely at this point that I'd be pregnant if tests aren't picking it up. I also had some brown spotting on CD17 and have cramped since CD16. It's a strange one, CD36 and still nothing so am just trying to relax and hopefully AF will come soon. Stressing about it won't be helping things I expect.

Bristolian1 · 01/03/2015 18:13

Hi all, can I join you please? I had 2x MMC last year, at 9 and 11 weeks, both times baby stopped growing around 6-7 weeks. Been waiting for a laparoscopy which I've just recovered from to TTC again so I'm just 'enjoying' my first 2ww in a while. I did an HPT at 9dpo (obvs BFN) - can't believe I'm already this crazy and its only cycle one...
Sorry for all of your losses and the baby bombs Flowers

chasingtherainbow · 01/03/2015 18:21

Welcome fellow bristolian Flowers Sorry for your losses. Xx

mrsdiddlydoo · 01/03/2015 20:41

ladydoc when I first used the dual hormone cb opk I use to go straight to a solid smiley. I wouldn't worry... Just get busy! You should ovulate in the next day or so. Grin

northdownmummy · 01/03/2015 21:07

Today was my due date. I survived with barely a tear shed.

I was so anxious leading up to this but it really was just another day. Just wanted to share cause I know some of you have difficult dates coming up.

chasingtherainbow · 01/03/2015 21:18

North Down. Cake I'm glad it wasn't too awful for you. Xxx

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 01/03/2015 21:36
