Amy I'm trying to convince myself as well as I'm feeling really nauseous. Rationally I know it can't be a symptom at 5dpo! Plus I don't even know for certain if I ovulated.
Argh. So annoyed with myself for obsessing.

Equally annoyed at myself for obsessing!

Amyyy27 · 26/02/2015 20:41

Its shit this isn't it i just want to know now!! Im still having cramps.. it hasnt let up. I just hope thats a good thing not bad :(

MrsConfusion · 26/02/2015 20:49

Yup, also slapping self for obsessing here!

Whole day at a work away day today, in group with pregnant colleague who is due when I should have been with mc2. Ouch.

Teenie I think and others wondering about symptoms - I felt so nauseous in January I was utterly sure I was pregnant, really retching, then AF arrived and nausea carried on for 5 weeks.

Many congratulations on the BFPs, yay Grin, lots of hand holding here for as long as you need and want it.

Anyone out there good at biology?? I've had 2 long cycles then one short one since MC2 (36, 34 & 24 days), and this cycle I've now had spotting for 4 days (TMI alert!! -dark brown and heavy after DTD, with horrid diarrhoea on Monday then lighter brown Tues then pink Weds and now darker pink - exactly same progress as MC2 - which is really bringing it all back). Also Blush kind of sore downstairs and uncomfortable. I'm just confused and worried, I've never had spotting in the past with normal AF. Is my body broken? Dr Google says it's everything from normal to infection to cancer, silly me for looking.Confused

chasingtherainbow · 26/02/2015 20:55

I'm feeling so many various twinges etc at only 3 dpo and now completely terrified on another eptopic. It hadn't even occurred to me that it could happen again.

MrsConfusion · 26/02/2015 21:04

chasing I'm sure that's too early to feel anything, completely understand you feeling scared after all you've been through, Cake, but try not to panic. I'm sure it won't happen again, positive thinking!

chasingtherainbow · 26/02/2015 21:07

Now in tears. Just read that I only have a 50% chance of a pregnancy being in the correct place. 50%?! WTF. Why was I not told this when I was in hospital.

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.

MrsConfusion · 26/02/2015 21:23

50%? If that's true they definitely should have talked you through it at the hospital. Can you give them a call in the morning to find out? Big hugs chasing, is DH there to look after you tonight?

Amyyy27 · 26/02/2015 21:59

Aww chasing hun im so sorry if ive scared you i was just in panic mode. Im sure you will be totally fine and youre gunna get a healthy bfp in march!

I agree they should have told you something like that, in fact i would ring them and ask them if its true and if so why werent you informed back then. Flowers

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 26/02/2015 22:18

I just read this chasing

'You have about a one in 10 risk of having another ectopic pregnancy. But this means that you have a nine out of 10 chance of not having another one.Â

This risk does also depend on the type of surgery you had, and whether there is any underlying damage to your remaining tube or tubes.'

OP posts:
chasingtherainbow · 26/02/2015 22:26

I had 2 x shots of methotrexate. My hcg was only 400s so was caught v early and mass was under 2.5mm. So hopefully little to no tubal damage.

But I am literally gripped with fear and now can't understand how I didn't know I was high risk for another.

There was a 20% chance the first mtx shot would fail.. and it did.

sebsmummy1 · 26/02/2015 22:47

Chasing I'm not convinced you are high risk for another ectopic. As you said, you had no tube damage due to the course of action they took. They will treat you as a higher risk and you will find that when you get your BFP you will automatically get an early scan, but whether you stats have jumped hugely - I doubt it.

In my very long experience on here, all the ectopic ladies I've met are all pregnant or have babies now. I have two tubes working and three miscarriages behind me, it's a lottery and you have very good odds. Don't crack up on us now!!

Nic89 · 26/02/2015 23:35

Got my long awaited BFP still can't believe it .... So nervous hope this time all is ok

Congratulations nic Grin
How are you this morning chasing ?

Gr33dyeggs · 27/02/2015 06:38

Congrats nic89 I hope the next 8 months are uneventful.

chasing where did you get those odds? I'd check reviews rather than single papers or stick to nice/ nhs / rcog based info. I'd definitely get in touch with someone for clarification - maybe epu? Hugs.

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 27/02/2015 06:42

I used to find statistics mostly confirming. But then I had a miscarriage.
Apparently miscarriages are 1 in 5. But I was under 30, had a previous healthy pregnancy, wasn't a smoker or heavy drinker, had given up caffeine etc etc so it should have been more like 1 in 20. And I still had a miscarriage.
So statistics are bollocks in many ways because shit things do happen.

BUT with no damage, you chances of having a healthy pregnancy next time are massively higher than the likelihood of it not working out. Just have to hope and try not to worry. Thanks Thanks

Wonderful news nic

Gr33dyeggs · 27/02/2015 16:31

chasing have you managed to speak to anyone about your worries?

I'm feeling poorly still - viral tonsillitis now so only paracetamol. I had a 4 hour sleep after the drs but am still tired.

brickiemum2 · 27/02/2015 18:06

Although not strictly a ttc question (yet) can anyone give advice. I got my post mc beta hcg done and it's sitting at 47 at two weeks after surgery. Is that normal? I'm worried it sounds high.

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 27/02/2015 18:19

Ugh, either myself today. I'm 10lb more than when I mc in December. Talk about comfort-eating. Going to focus on losing it (and ideally another 10lb!) before summer. You never know, it might stop me obsessing over ttc. I generally need something to obsess over.

Hello all, I've had two previous losses through d and c, this is my first natural miscarriage. Was five ish weeks and started bleeding a fortnight ago Monday. Can I ask, since bleeding is now tailing off and hpt is totally negative, does that mean all is gne? Epu won't scan me and will pay private if there is any point. Also, today I'm really fucking ill. Vomiting constantly, diarrhoea and cramps in upper stomach. I'm presuming that this is just something else, no real fever, but does it sound like an infection? I stubbornly used tampax a couple of times when first started bleeding- was on holidays and wasn't going to not let my daughter swim in pool. Thanks all x
