Hi I'm new to the site. I've been off the bcp for a month now and trying for a baby. I am now 4 days late for af but have got a negative hpt ... I get lower abdominal pain and thick white discharge can anyone help please I am also 20 years old

Don't really think anything I can say will help I'm afraid. Being off BCP for only a month it's likely that your cycles have just not regulated yet, can take a long time for your body to get back to normal unfortunately.

I've been off BCP since June, cycle was 28/29 days for a few months and since then the cycle length has been increasing. I'm now on day 42, no period and negative test. I'm feeling so unbelievably frustrated and down about it all Every negative hpt makes me so upset. It's scary that you can have so little control over your own body.

Try to be patient, concentrate on having a healthy lifestyle and stress free fun with your partner, you're only 20 so time's on your side. Hopefully your body will find it's natural cycle soon. Good luck
