WTF is this please? Has anyone ever had HALF a line??

This is the (dried) test from this morning that I took with fmu at 9dpo. The second half a line came up within 1 minute. I'm not sure if this is a faulty test or if it's over saturated or what.

I've done two tests since which have been negative but had only held my wee for about 2 hours. I'm going to test again this morning but this is driving me crazy.

Has anyone ever experienced this? What was the outcome?

How odd! Nothing sensible to add really as not seen it before but hopefully you get a good result when you test in a couple of days.

Wowzers, that is a new phenomenon! How frustrating for you, but also pretty impressive as that is spectacularly rare I reckon!
But a line is a line, so hope you get a full one tomorrow.

Pee in a container and test from that. Hopefully you'll get a more accurate result.

TBH the test does look a bit faulty, the dye seems to have run.

Always best with a FRER in my opinion.

I have literally never ever seen this before. .. even for all my crazy googling in the past!

I hope you get your bfp with a frer in a few days. At 9 dpo that's mega early and thst line even though only half seems very strong.. too strong for 9dpo?

On the positive side the half line that is there is pretty strong!

Have you re tested op?

is there anything useful on the manufacturers website?

i would maybe report it to them as they may be able to explain it, or it may highlight a batch issue they may not be aware of?

Hi thank you all for the responses and sorry for the late update, work has been crazy busy.

Today I tested on a frer and with the same brand again and both were negative. Ho hum. I guess this is useful for anyone who has the same experience, getting your hopes up is terribly cruel.

At least I'm not growing half a baby I guess!
