Sorry, posted too soon. It's probably obvious that I have an inpatient nature.

Depends how soon after ovulation implantation took place. I'm not due till Thursday, got BFP today.

sebsmummy1 · 10/02/2015 13:59

Earliest I've ever had a positive was 8/9 dpo with a Tesco test.

temperamentalamongcorvids · 10/02/2015 14:28

Ooh congratulations, Mrsp !!

Were you using an expensive test or a cheapie? I've never really believed there was much difference but reading a few threads on here recently has swayed me.

And I'm impatient, not an inpatient!

I just used the cheap ones as they have a 10 sensitivity, and the last clear blue I bought was 50!!

Got a line on the cheapy so bought a more expensive one and got a positive on that too. quite faint, but there.

That's encouraging. I've found them fine in the past but only tested on the day I was due on, might bring it forward a couple of days this time. I'm impatient after a miscarriage a couple of months ago.

Did you notice implantation at all? In previous pregnancies I've noticed it in hindsight but only once had an implant bleed, which was quite clearly what it was.

I didn't notice any implantation symptoms but I didn't with my first either. I had terribly painful boobs and aversions to all sorts of smells with DS as well but this time I've got no symptoms apart from tingly boobs, but I just had 'that feeling'. There was something different this last few days so took a punt and tested.
Good luck!! Fingers Crossed for you.

Hi there I'm 10 days late we have been trying for a baby for 4 years now I have tested twice on the 5th and 10th and both negative what is going on has this happened to anyone else and what advice could you give me thank you ???.....

temperamentalamongcorvids · 10/02/2015 16:57

How frustrating for you, Oz .
I had a late test at about 5 days late, and I've heard of people not getting a bfp till a bit later on.

I would think that after TTC for 4 years your GP should now be referring you for some form of fertility tests. Make an appointment and tell them you want a referral.
