Any opk pros?

Came off the pill in September and yet to have a period. Have been to the dr and told to wait another 3 months before any tests are done.

Lately, have had lots of cramps felt like I could be about to get AF.

Decided to try an opk tonight, got the darkest line I have ever had by a mile. I'm fully aware that these don't guarantee that ovulation will happen but wanted to ask if they usually get darker over the next few days? I just want to monitor things at this stage. Any advice on these would be much appreciated

I have got pg twice using those cheapy ov sticks and I would regard that as a positive.

Yes I know the packets say positive is when test line is darker than control line but it never was for me, your pic is the closest I got and it always turned out to be 14 days before I got my period so definitely fits with ovulation. (that plus the fact I got pg...)

That said, no period since pill in sep plus af type cramps could mean there is just something weird hormonal going on, not ovulation... sorry. But no harm in DTD just in case!

Very interested to read these comments as I had a similar opk result on Friday - see pic. First month TTC and my very first opk! I thought it was negative as not as dark as control line, but as my saliva ovulation test had shown the fertile pattern, we DTD Fri, Sat, Sun & Mon anyway. Fingers crossed!

I am using OPK at the moment and mine looked just like that yesterday. It is darker today. I also have an app which tracks my AF and predicts fertile window. According to app that window opened yesterday. All signs point to yes!
