mirena coil moved!

I had the mirena coil fitted on 5th Jan 2015. Just went to check the string and can hardly feel it. It used to be quite down. Been having pains in lower stomach as if period pains. Anyone else had this? Got my check up next week

My Mirena migrated and it was picked up at the routine 6 week post-insertion check up with the GP. She couldn't see my strings so I was sent to my local hospital for an ultrasound scan which showed my Mirena was still in my womb but had risen upwards and obviously the strings had followed.

It's movement caused no problems though and it still provided great contraception for the three years it was in there
