I think we might be mad but both DH and I are keen to have another. We have a 2yr old (just 2 this month) and an almost 5 month old. I go back to work quickly each time but work from home and have a fab nanny. DH works long hours. So I see a lot of the kids and spend lots of time with them but have great help. Biggest problem is how sick I get in pregnancy and I am afraid I will find myself up in the night (5 mth old is not sleeping well) while feeling horrifically sick causing me massive stress for the 4 months I am a basketcase in pregnancy. I won't say the 2 kids aren't stressful at times (though getting a puppy a couple of months ago was definitely a bad idea) but we have a great set up and do actually want more kids. DH is 40 so sooner is better we think and also love the idea of them all being very close together, hellish and all it can be when they are little. I got my period back last month so if my cycle is steady (may not be as I'm still combination feeding) this weekend could be ovulation. I guess I am asking has anyone else taken the plunge so quickly with their babies, and could you cope especially considering the nanny, and family also very near by who help a fair bit. I feel vaguely selfish to do it as we do rely on other peoples help so I sort of feel its an imposition on them too to have another but now that I've written this, I kind of feel closer to making the decision to go for it. Its very exciting!
