Anyone available for hand holding?

Hi ladies
I just got a bfp!!!!! 8 months of trying and this could be it. I had a bfp on my 3rd cycle but it disappeared the next day. I'm so worried that the same will happen again that I'm not going to tell DP for a few days.anyone fancy some hand holding for the next few days as I invest in many sticks and pee on all of them? Also, I've had an odd feeling on my left side for a few days, not painful as such just like there is something there- I wouldn't be able to feel an ectopic this early would I? Think I'm max 12dpo ( gave up on the sticks a while ago after the disappearing bfp). Eeekkk! Argh! Yikes! I'm a bit excited, can you tell?

Congrats on your BFP! I realise that you are nervous due to past experience but positives are rarely wrong :) Can you confirm with a digi test? If you are really worried your GP might be able to do a test for you. Anyway wishing you all the best for the months ahead :)

Thank you, a bit of reassurance is just what I needed. I'll very likely head straight to the supermarket in the morning to stock up on sticks so I can go testing mad.hopefully they will all be positive. I'll give gp a ring next week if alls well I think.

Sounds like a plan :) don't stress about it though, false positives are rare so you are almost certainly preggo and have a very exciting time ahead of you!

Congrats on your BFP. With my second preg I also had that feeling of something there like you describe...that feeling is now a loud but lovely 5 year old DD. Hope that helps.

Thanks night and Lilly, it really does help. Especially you having similar who is now 5. It's too easy to get wrapped up in all the things that go wrong isn't it but so often hopes do turn into dc's. I'm going for a digi tomorrow, hopefully I'll feel more certain then as that's when I found bfp had disappeared last time. Hopefully stays this time!
