Hello, been ttc for 9 months now, I came off the pill after being on it for 15 years or more.. My periods are between 28 and 38 days even now, is this normal? Does it take this long to go back to regular 'normal' cycles? Thanks for any reassurance! ??

after 2 years ttc my cycles were still ranging between 30-34 days. its not unusual to ovulate at different times each month. mine had started to settle to ovulate either cd18 or cd20 by the time we started ivf. it can take a while. I once ovulated cd14 then the next cycle cd25, no reason for it! try not to stress about it though, stress can delay ovulation. good luck

also if you've been ttc 9 months have you been doing opks at all? a lot of people find they aren't DTD at the right time of the month until they do opks. in a 38 day cycle you may not ovulate until CD 26. the time between ovulation and AF never changes in the same woman, its time until ovulation that changes
