March bus for those of us who drive right on through feb without stopping!

Hope nobody minds, Thought I'd start a march bus especially for those people like me who skip feb out due to it being 28 days and having a 32 day cycle, or those already kicked off the feb bus. But all are welcome expecting bfps in March!

Found the jan bus was a great place to be to discuss the madness that is ttc!

So welcome aboard! Grin

The TWW is even worse isn't it Romeo when there is no possibility of pregnancy! The universe will reward us for our patience though by giving us bfps in March!

I really hope so night. There is a good chance that a March BFP will give me a due date around the anniversary of my mum's death - not sure how I feel about that one but mayyyybe it's a sign Hmm.

Question: is there a mumsnet for boys? I know there is a gransnet, but is there a place where DP can talk about cm and OPKs with other boys like we do here? I mean, surely they are similarly interested but we hog all the talk? Sad

night anniversary is Dec 6th and think due date would be first week in Dec although both DCs were a week or so early. Christmas with a newborn Hmm but better than being heavily pregnant... I was 36 wks pg with DD at Christmas and had to lie down half way through lunch as I was so stuffed and uncomfortable! To be honest though I will take whatever I'm given BFP wise!

So I've been reading about things that can increase ewcm as I think I hardly get any. I have seen grapefruit, evening primrose, b vitamins and cough mixture all mentioned - does anyone use any of these or something else successfully?!

Heir- I have tried all except b vitamins and not noticed much of a difference to be honest though I know others have. I am just trying to drink loads of water this cycle as that's supposed to help too.

Sorry to see so many of you have been kicked off the February bus.

heir I have drunk grapefruit juice in run up to ov and then pineapple juice after ov (to aid implantation). Not sure I noticed any difference but it did result in 2 pregnancies - could all be coincidence though!

Got a flashing smiley today so will start dtd eod... I know they suggest eod to give the spermies time to regenerate... or something like that. Then dtd every day for 3 days when we get a solid smiley. Phew. Poor DH

We are going to do eod too Baby as DH is adamnant that every day is bad for sperm (despite knowing nothing about TTC). Bit worried about it as at the mo we only dtd twice a week!

Good luck baby. I'm about to do my first opk of the month although I shouldn't see a positive until Sunday or thereabouts.

DP is agreeing to eod this time around but has said not to start too early. He's up for trying for a week so I need to figure out when to time the commencement of operation babymake. In his words 'we'll do it two or three times'..........!! Pah! More like four or five DP!!!

Last month we dtd on cd13, 14 and 17 and I got my positive on cd15 so I need to figure out a better plan this time around that works!! At least I've got temping to assist this time so I'm thinking we'll keep going until I'm happy ov has occurred!

Not till AF arrives and goes Dizzy so probably in the last couple of days of Feb. I don't do any temp ing or opk so no real idea when I ovulate so just going to go for as long as possible! Poor DH Grin

Night and Dizzy I'm technically on one of my fast days (doing 5:2 while trying to conceive) so the talk of snickers and ice cream is not helping, however, love a bit of B&Js, actually really like their yoghurt ones (I know sacrilege). Have their raspberry and dark chocolate in the freezer which is calling to me currently as I work from home this afternoon...

Giraffe how are you doing, has AF arrived yet? Sorry if it has Flowers

CD9 here. DH and I are working on our DTDatalon. Again tonight and then Saturday morning before we go away. Hope we don't miss out this month as it looks like the next day will be Tuesday but DH promises that we can then do Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday to make up. We're definitely not feeling as nervous as we were last month so fingers are firmly crossed it works.

Hello to those from the Feb bus, sorry you have been thrown on here.
Martini over here please! I am thinking my dtdathon needs to start next week and disappointingly, have worked out that 2 days around ovulation DH is away so not sure how lucky we will get.
Am I right in thinking that if we dtd the deed in the days leading up to ovulation and the day after the smiley face on the cb digital ovulation test we may be in with a chance?
I don't work Fridays so today is my Friday, wine night! Grin

blondie Don't hold me to this but I think, (hoping I have understood what "Dr" Purdey from the Feb bus says). You have 12-24hrs after OV for your egg to be fertilised. I don't use OPKs but I think if you get a solid smiley on say Wednesday evening, I think it means that the egg will be released on Thursday giving you have until Friday evening to get that egg to meet sperm.

can anyone else help, have I got this completely wrong?

dojo I think the LH surge that gives the smiley face on an opk typically comes 12-36 hrs before ovulation. The egg lasts 12-24 hrs from ovulation and sperm takes approximately 10hrs to reach the Fallopian tubes but can last there for up to about 3 days. Does that help?

Night 2 of dtdathon over here. Just getting in the mood by bathing and changing and feeding DC and checking the chicken isn't burning and feeding the cats and wiping off the kitchen counter and pissing on an opk. Thrilling sexy stuff.
