Flashing Smiley Face Clear Blue

Please can someone help me?? I've had 1day no fertility showing and now 7 days of flashing smiley faces will I get a peak, steady face or have I missed something? My period started 14 days ago and ended after 7 days so I then started my pack!

I have no clue about ovulation and when I am ovulating!! Read lots, I haven't noticed cm been trying since August, first month of digital ovulation sticks!!

Hi there. This may be no help whatsoever but this was my experience. I've been using them for a few months now and prior to this month I've had 2 days of flashing and then had a solid. This cycle I had flashing smileys for 5 days CD17-21 but nothing else. I then got more flashers CD30-38 (ran out of sticks at that point so not sure if they would have continued flashing or not). I then got flashing again on CD53, which turned solid on CD54 accompanied by EWCM. I'm currently CD65, in my 2ww and due on Thursday I think.
If you are usually regular I'd stick with it and hope you get your solid smiley face soon. I use IC from Amazon and only use the digital when they show something to be happening or if I get EWCM but that's because as you can see my cycle is up the spout so it's all guesswork with me!

Thank you KokoLoko, I'm normally 26 or 27 day cycle!! I'll keep going with it and buy cheapies next month, I've got 9 sticks left- just want a permanent smiley face instead of flashing!! I thought there was only a 4 day window!! Plus not sure I'm I actually fertile all this time- high fertility!?

im on day 10 of flashing face! getting mad now. most ive had it 9 then solid peak smile. going to keep testing til sunday morning, then giving up. keep going, give it a few more days. ive used these sticks for approx 7 months now. x

As I understand it the flashing smiley is based on one hormone (sorry not sure which) rising, the solid smiley happens when another hormone (LH) surges. So if you're only getting flashing then I'd say that your other hormones are getting ready but the LH surge (and subsequent possible ovulation) hasn't quite happened yet.

I hate the flashing smiley, 5 days now. Superdrug text was positive on Sunday. Two lines exactly the same colour. Which do I follow. Day 17 today.

Flourishing - did you use both types of opk at the same time?
If not then maybe you missed your surge with the smiley one? X

I used clear blue digi in the morning flashing smiley and superdrug in the afternoon positive. Both lines the same colour. I thought the lh lasted for 2 days?

I thought it would be still there in the morning.

I've heard of people missing their surge - but I'm no expert.
I always use the cheapies at the same time as clear blue and they have always matched... Hopefully someone with more experience can give you more details

Well ladies delighted to say got a steady smiley today- at long last!! Thought I'd missed it!! I'm sexed out now though!! Gotta keep smiling!! The hubby is loving it though!! 1 more day and then no more getting up early to check sticks, can have extra wee snooze in my bed!! He he!! Then I've got to work on everything being crossed!! Flourishing I had exactly the same, flashing CB in the morning and positive IC in the afternoon. I retested with the CB and it was solid as well so it might be that you just missed it?

After my tale of strange flashing smileys this cycle above I tested yesterday and got my BFP! Very faint but a line's a line I keep telling myself.

i got my peak too yesterday teatime, after 12 flashing faces, i had some spotting, googled, read that it indicated ov, did a clearblue in afternoon, got the peak!

heres to the next 2 weeks. x

I've had the opposite problem with the clearblue. I had 2 days of just the empty circle, then straight to the solid smiley face the next day. No days of flashing. Anyone know what this might mean??

I’ve recently bought the clear blue ovulation digital tests, yesterday I had a blinking smiley face (1st September) after coming off my period on the 27th august, however I tested again today and now just have a circle meaning no ovulation now? I had unprotected sex with my partner last night too. Does anyone know why I only had a flashing smiley face for 1 day? Is it likely that ovulation is soon coming?

Can someone please help took clearblue ovulate test yesterday came up a circle. Took one this morning and has came up a solid face what does this mean anyone.
