Marmite - can we have some stats please?!!

Marmite27 · 30/01/2015 12:39

My phone and iPad have a ridiculous typing delay, I was planning on using the PC this weekend to do just that :)

crazypuglady · 30/01/2015 12:48

You lot really can talk!

Fingers crossed sarky it's looking good.

It's like a chart off in here! Any charty people might remember mine looking a mess earlier Amin the month and me thinking I hadn't ov-ed. Well FF now thinks I oved on CD20 which is odd as I've been regular 28 days since I stopped the pill in October. For info, I had the lurgy all over my fertile period and I've had a very quiet relaxing month after being incredibly stressed at work Oct-Dec so that may have an effect too.

Anyway, let me know what you think because I have no clue when to expect AF. Is it normal to have a long cycle with the lurgy?

Argh! Loads to catch up on..will have to cluster post, so apologies Blush I've been busy starting a thread over on AIBU Grin

Twinkle, I would wait and see how this cycle and the next one pans out on charts. You simply could be ov-ing a little later this month or could easily have missed the surge. I never rely on the appearance - or otherwise - of fertile cm; that stuff can be affected by so many environmental factors.

Dojo, those cycles are outrageous and clearly a sign something is up. Probably PCOS which is very easily treated. Go and get all Rambo on the GP's ass.

What is AIBU? X

sarkymare · 30/01/2015 12:59

You're brave purdey. I'm surprised they haven't eaten you alive!

nightandthelight · 30/01/2015 13:05

March bus very quiet :( can I stay here and everyone pretend not to notice that I don't belong? DH bought condoms today for the first time since we have been together, I absolutely hate them so not looking forward to that.

PurdeyBirdie · 30/01/2015 13:06

Sparkly, keep doing what you're doing, lovely, ov will very likely be later this cycle after your mc.

Boris, I can't believe Kimmy's a potty mouth! Shock

Night, for what reason? Meds?

RHIANNON! Cool your jets, woman! 'Tis too early yet. Test on Sunday

kissing, my toddler would have to have swallowed something very large before I would get up in the night and go to her room.

austral, it sounds like your body's revving up to ovulate but can't quite do it..

Very brave purdey they are bat shit crazy a little intense over there

PurdeyBirdie · 30/01/2015 13:09

Crazy, I would see what occurs on the chart for the next few days before panicking but it's looking like you have an eight-day luteal phase Shock

I'm afraid I'm a soft touch purdey we generally bed share but she gets put in her own room when oh and I fancy a bit......to be honest it worked when she was small and was a godsend when we were still breastfeeding but I feel it's a habit that needs to be broken now. Just not sure how to do it.....

PurdeyBirdie · 30/01/2015 13:10

I'm not brave, I'm just 43 and therefore much more inclined to say what I think Grin

nightandthelight · 30/01/2015 13:11

Yeah the meds purdey GP and pharmacist say they can cause abnormalities although everything on the internet says otherwise (including research papers). Oh well that's life I guess :)

Hairstylisttoboris · 30/01/2015 13:14

I love aibu (sammy am I being unreasonable - under other stuff on talk - it's scarily hilariously full on). I'm off there to find you Purdey

PurdeyBirdie · 30/01/2015 13:18

GPs and pharmacists will always cover their backs.

Boris, you'll find a beautiful photo of me over there...

That's what I think purdey but DH thinks they only tell the gospel truth so I'm stuck.

mummyofonesofar · 30/01/2015 13:27

Which AIBU are you on? Look a good nose!

mummyofonesofar · 30/01/2015 13:28

I would stay cautious and not try hun. GPs aren't specialists but they have more of an idea than we do.

nightandthelight · 30/01/2015 13:30

I do realise that mummy and I am going to wait, it's just so frustrating :( Will get through it with the help of you lovely ladies though!

Rainy34 · 30/01/2015 13:31

Hi everyone , I think I ovulated either Wed or Thursday , went to the toilet and there was a little bit of brown when I wiped, I don't know wether it's ovulation bleeding or normal spotting that I get, if it is that is ridiculous , wondering if the high strength vitamin b complex is doing something , it was only the once,

Sparkly123 · 30/01/2015 13:38

Purdey thanks lovely. Do you think I should stick to smep and carry on every other day? Ie miss tonight and do tomorrow instead? I'm being impatient I know, I think I just expected my cycle would go back to straight OV on 14/15! But obviously not! How are you? How long until your fertile time? Another week?

night how confusing for you. But typical. Always the same. It's hard when so much research says otherwise. I didn't realise you always had to treat shingles with antivirals. People I have known with it have just been advised that it will clear away eventually without Treatment and that antivirals are not going to cure the shingles so to speak just slows down the multiplication?

Crazy my OV was pushed back by a couple days last cycle which I can only assume was because I had a bad flu type virus. Keep charting see what the next couple days show. The only other thing id say is- on CD 18 you have that big dip? My chart always does this and I figured the dip was my OV day .. Purdey what are your thoughts on this?? I read that you can have a massive dip on OV day? I always seem to have this on my chart and have my LH surge the two days previous so I always thought it tied in?

nightandthelight · 30/01/2015 13:45

Hi Sparkly I was surprised that they prescribed antivirals but I think it's because the rash is near my ear. From what I have read rashes near eyes/ears can cause permenent nerve damage if not treated. Also the treatment is only effective if started within 72 hours and luckily I saw the doc early enough :)

Hairstylisttoboris · 30/01/2015 13:51

Oh rainey I had a tiny amount of pink blood in my cm on Monday which would be about right for OV for me. I've not experienced ovulation bleeding before, do you know if it happens at the time of OV or after or?? And would one tiny spot of blood be OV bleeding?

TiggeryBear · 30/01/2015 14:08

I know it's way too early to be feeling like this, but still feel awful. Not typical AF symptoms for me. Just had to leave the office as feeling so overwhelmed! :'(

Hairstylisttoboris · 30/01/2015 14:25

purdey taking on AIBU well there! Where's this photo? I can't see it?
