No purdey. It matches where the line of my OPK perfectly.

Hairstylisttoboris · 30/01/2015 09:43

sarky second the frer idea, double check. Looks good tho but slightly unusual in the way the ink is. Xxx

dojo123 · 30/01/2015 09:44

purdey my cycles are usually 26/27 possibly 28 days. I came off the pill over two years ago and my cycles have been regular apart form the last quarter of last year.
Sept/Oct 25 days
Oct/Nov 23 days
Nov/Dec 19 days (stress related)
Dec/Jan 26 days
Jan/Feb so far 29 days and counting.

nightandthelight · 30/01/2015 09:54

Double checked the TTC situation with the pharmacist this morning and it is a definite no :( fx sparky!

tessiegirl · 30/01/2015 09:57

Oooh fx for you sarky!

Oh ladies, it is hilarious you have been speculating about DH's job...however, he is neither an embalmer or an assassin!!!

FF confirmed ovulation for me this morning so the 2ww begins...plus, I'm really happy as that means this month my ovulation date is much earlier than it has been the last 2 cycles so wondering if the Pregnacare had delayed it as I came off it this cycle but then, would it be out of my system this quickly?!! Oh well, I'm happy nevertheless Smile

loopylou1984 · 30/01/2015 10:11

Fx for you sarky - I don't want to bring you down, but I had an ic that looked similar to this and it turned out to be a false positive. Admittedly mine did not appear as quickly as yours though, so perhaps there is more hope for you! Good luck Smile X

BananaRaces · 30/01/2015 10:14

BabyBump I think you must have missed me (I don't think I see myself on the stats list anyway).

BananaRaces, age 30, ttc#1, cycle 2, BFP due 13th Feb

I'm just entering the dreaded TWW... argh!

loopylou1984 · 30/01/2015 10:21

RhiannonElward · 30/01/2015 10:21

Hello folks

sarky that looked pretty convincing to me!

I'm due on the 3rd/4th, my internet cheapies say they are accurate from four days before af due. AIBU to have a POAS today? I completely hate this waiting.

rachelrawrrr · 30/01/2015 10:27

this is playing on my mind too much.... had a dream that I woke up and was 17 weeks pregnant haha! Grin

Lillygolightly · 30/01/2015 10:32

WinterBaby your not alone I also find DH super attractive when he say[s stuff like impregnating me with super sperm...etc Blush

Sparkly so glad not to have offended and you WILL get your BFP though AI Smile I am settling in lovely...though it moves fast here, I like that though Grin

BabyBump Can I be added? My Stats are: Age 33, TTC baby no 3, Cycle #2, BFP Due 15th Feb.

I also can sympathise as my cycles are long can be anything between 31-38 days. I used to think this was great as I had less periods but its totally sh*t when TTC :(

MissMummy so sorry AF has shown up

Lillygolightly · 30/01/2015 10:44

Sarky oooh exciting keeping fingers X'd for you

Last month on the first month of TTC I took a test, it was an old test that I had tucked away in a drawer kept from the year before (was still in date) when I had a bit of a scare. Anyway I neglected to read the instructions and went straight to POAS. Instantly 2 strong lines appeared and I was like Grin until I took a second longer look and realised there were 3 windows on the test and the third window was blank...so the 2 lines were control windows...so I went from Grin to Sad in seconds. Now I stick to the cheapies as I find them far les confusing.

Sweets27 · 30/01/2015 10:48

Morning all, what a chatty bus we are! Still catching up with all the latest gossip, but two things -

Marmite, CONGRATULATIONS!!! So very happy for you Smile

Nomio, thanks for your thoughts on the risks of epilepsy medication. I really feel for your poor cousin. Do you know what meds she was on, and how high the dosage was? Do you also know if she was advised to take extra folic acid? I know that some of the 'old' style meds were a little worse from a pregnancy pov, the sodium valproates. Lamotrigine has less of an impact (see this old-ish study www.webmd.com/epilepsy/news/20110517/study-low-birth-defect-risk-from-newer-epilepsy-drugs), although I've been warned of the risks and prescribed extra FA. For me, that's preferable to the risk of seizing while pg and losing the baby.

HeirToTheIronThrone · 30/01/2015 11:16

Ooh, exciting Sarky!

I love Kim Sears. I would be exactly the same, probably worse. The media can fuck right off with the judgey pieces this morning. Andy Murray has has to apologise for her, wtf?

I wish it would snow here! Sadly unlikely as practically live in the sea on the south coast...

sarkymare · 30/01/2015 11:19

I've bought some tests. Will wait until tomorrow and use them with FMU.

Sweets27 · 30/01/2015 11:24

Good luck sarky!

BananaRaces · 30/01/2015 11:29

Fingers crossed for you sarky.

kissinggiraffe · 30/01/2015 11:34

Fx sarky looks like a line. Don't wait til tomorrow, do another one now!!!!

heir we don't have snow either, would be lovely to have some over the weekend and maybe get the older children a couple of snow days next week. But living right down south I am not hopeful......

I can't remember if I've said it yet marmite so congratulations. I hope you have a very boring non eventful 8 months ahead!

winter and lilly I'm just the same, nothings more attractive than my husband announcing he's going to fertilise me with his super man stuffGrin

Pretty sure I'm in the tww and we only managed to dtd 'successfully' once so I'm not holding out much hope for this cycle.
I think I'll get some opks for next month. We have a toddler who believes sleep is the devils own creation so it's not unusual for dtd to be interrupted and brought to an abrupt end. Opks would give us an idea of when we need to ignore toddler, carry on and get the job done regardless!

Allstoppedup · 30/01/2015 11:50

Sarky that's a darker line than my (first) BFP on the same brand on Monday!

You have more patience than me, I held my pee for three hours and then couldn't resist doing my FRER! Grin

Good luck!

rachelrawrrr · 30/01/2015 12:00

Fingers crossed for you sarky Grin

I'm hoping to dtd as much as possible in the next week... I'm getting my tonsils out on 9th February and I'm apparently meant to ovulate around then... a shagging mission is about to commence!!!!!! Grin

CookieDough9 · 30/01/2015 12:07

Hello all.

Ooh lots to catch up on. Haven't been able to log in as have away for a few days. CD11 and started dtd last night at cd10. Haven't done opk or temps due to being away and not able to get the stuff needed.

Had scan today and told ovaries are clear and cyst that showed up in September scan is no longer there so must have resolved itself. So pleased with this news as was anxious about the cyst. Endo caused ttc problems last time.

Congrats to those with bfp's and fx for everyone else. Will read the thread back.

sarkymare · 30/01/2015 12:11

I only had some change on me so bought cheapies. Couldn't find an FRER. There isn't many shops around here. I will hold my wee in and do another in a few hours.

As for the patchy dye on the test, that disappeared once the test had dried but the line remains!

I must have my ovulation dates wrong. I shouldn't be getting a BFP at 8/9 DPO its just too unlikely.

I knew as soon as I woke up that I should do a test though as I had the most god awful sex dream last night, which only happens when I'm pregnant. I'm never going to get the image of the prick clarkson out of my head! The shame!

australopithecus · 30/01/2015 12:11

Oh yes! congrats marmite and am xf for sarkey.
Here it is shagging central regardless of feeling irritated by yet another little bit fainter than control line positive on the opk confusing the blue moon out of my my exhausted star sign this morning. You can't surge for 56 hrs straight. Can you?

Sparkly123 · 30/01/2015 12:13

Fingers crossed Sarky

Thanks Lilly

Good luck to those in the TWW now!... Keep the head! WinkConfused here's some cake to keep you all going Cake

Oooooh I've not heard about Kim, I must go and look at this Wink fascinating fact for you all- I was at school with Andy Murray (although he was a few years below me) claim to fame right there eh, ha ha!

Today is CD 13 for me, my chart has never looked like this before so I am really hoping that I do actually ovulate! Anyone else have descending temps at this stage??

DING! DING! The February bus is departing - destination Preggsville!
Marmite27 · 30/01/2015 12:32

Thanks for the congrats guys.

DH rifeled through a calendar last night, then announced we may be too busy for Halloween this year!

Fx for those who need them, I'll do my best to share the BFP wealth around :D
