Hi everyone, can I buy a ticket for this bus?

I am ttc again after a mmc last year, which I only discovered at my 12-week scan. We took some time off from ttc, but now back to it.

I am annoyed because I have just had a random 23-day cycle. I'm normally 27-8 days, so no idea what is going on.

My stats are TheSortingCat, 29, TTC #1, cycle 2 after mmc, BFP due around 20th Feb I think.

After this month's 23-day cycle, DH and I are planning a shagathon as soon as AF is over, so I'm making the most of a few quiet evenings while I can.

nooooooo ibeka not ginger sprogs! Not every ginger gets bullied at school but I was and I can guarantee if my kid got bullied I would, in typical feisty red head style, go all kung fu panda on bully parents and end up in a ginger jail.

DH on the other hand would love a ginger sprog.

Hi everyone, I'd like to join the bus too please!

We are TTC #3 after a miscarriage at 7 weeks last December. AF due tomorrow (working on how things used to be pre-miscarriage, so may all be different) - i'd almost convinced myself that I was pregnant this month due to nausea, stretching/cramping type pains and feeling pretty rubbish. However, took an early response test today and it was negative :( so feeling fairly low about that. Trying to keep my head above water and waiting for AF to arrive now so we can try again which would mean me testing in Feb.

Now if only I could put it out of my mind and get on with some work....

babybump the main foods to avoid are unpasteurised cheeses, undercooked eggs, certain types of fish (sorry unhelpfully cant remember which ones). When I was pregnant with my DD I had an app on my phone (it was a free one) which was very handy for when out and about.

purdy I don't mind at all. Itchy teeth and lock jaw will do you no favours at all if your dh Wants rumpus pumpus! My oldest lo is 19 youngest is 4. Believe it or not I have never ttc conceive before! Every time I have been on the pill (have probs because I'm hormone sensitive and throw up a lot! ) anyway I was so happy with my 4 surprises (not so happy with 1 mc ) that we I have decided to finish up with one more (took me a few years to bully convince dh. Sorry for typos I'm on my stupid phone!

Generally it's all common sense, but some things I wouldn't necessarily have been aware of include:

• be totally paranoid about washing your veg to avoid eating any dirt, which can give you toxoplasmosis
• don't eat eggs unless they're cooked through, hard-boiled etc.
• don't eat squidgy/unpasteurised cheese
• remember not just coffee has caffeine in it (even chocolate has some)
• eat only well-done red meat
• limit oily fish like salmon

I know swordfish is completely off the menu. It's a tragedy, whatever else shall I have with my salad at lunch

DTD last night but OH failed to finish! So that was a waste of time......that means we have to make the effort again tonight, sigh.

I've started taking seven seas trying for a baby multi vits today, anybody else use these??

I'm not feeling very relaxed about ttc anymore. Getting all twitchy. Gah it's supposed to be fun isn't it??

Today I am CD 10 possibly.. Still confused about counting this as a "cycle" after mc. I feel truly awful today! Lots of pain again and my head is splitting.. However.. We agreed CD 10 to do an AI, even though I still have no sign of fertile cm!! Grrrr! I can tell this cycle is going to frustrate me!!! Ha. I have been using OPKs and lines are almost at peak so I imagine in a day or two to get smiles. But as we are following smep plan like last month, I'm going with AI tonight regardless!

I don't use the multi vits (although perhaps I should!) but know what you mean about feeling twitchy about ttc. It does crazy things to us!!

Just been reading back - Victoria - I hope you don't mind me asking but I noticed you said your husbands sperm sample results for morphology came back as 2% on the first, second was 5% and third was 2% - how much time was between each test? Did he abstain for the time they recommend before each test? And if he did, was this for the same amount of time before he did each sample?

Hello hideandsqueak. My backache has gone now after a night with the heatpad nappy but still have a 'full' feeling in abdomen and prickly sensations. This could just be wind though. I plan to wait it out until I am due AF on the 3rd or 4th. When are you due?

Sorry I phrased wrong purdey ttc is never fun but sex is supposed to be right?? All I can think about is trying not to spill anything afterwards!! obviously didn't have that issue last night
