help with opks?

Hi am hoping for some help! Am using boots opks for the first time and I'm not sure if I've got a positive yet? Can anyone help?

Are those the times you took the test? LH takes time to build up in your body so 8.45am may to too early. The optimum time is around 2pm, from what I've read. It's difficult to tell from a photo.

You do look like you're getting there! I would jump your OH if I were you!

Yes those are the times...I find it so hard to tell if the lines are dark enough! I wish I'd shelled out for the smiley face ones! Thanks for the advice will do!

I know - it's frustrating isn't it. Just keep shagging until they go pale again and then you've covered all bases :)

I've no real idea, but at least they are visible. And I would say just shag shag shag if you can. I'd worry more about missing ovulation than about the issue of exhausting your DP.

None of those are positive, however an OPK tells you when you're about to ovulate - so doesn't confirm. So basically all you need to know is when your urine is starting to get darker, it is indeed time to shag shag shag! And when they have gone completely, keep shagging for another 2 days.

The LH surge can last as little as 12 hours, to be able to pee at exactly the right millisecond that the LH is at its peak is damn near impossible! As long as you get some sort of lines that get stronger and then get fainter, you know that you are LH surging!

Fwiw, my GP is a fertility specialist who has recently been to a fertility seminar. In the preofessional world, and I quote, 'are less value than the piss you use on them'. They are inaccurate and a poor way to track ovulation. They do not confirm ovulation, only that your body is 'preparing' to ovulate.
