will my ability to conceive..

really have gone drastically downhill now I'm over 35. Before i start I know there's lots of you having diffs. with conceiving and truly I don't want to appear insensitive. I am wanting to try for another baby. My others were all conceived v. easily - within 1 month for 2 of them and the other within 2 mos. Now is the time we are keen to conceive (in terms of trying to calculate a EDD -DH needs to have finished his MSc etc) and I'm wondering (after reading lots of websites) if my ability to conceive will have drastically altered now I'm over 35. I am 36.5 and last got pregnant when I was 34.5. I'm healthy, don't smoke, not overweight etc. Should I expect it to tajke much longer than before??

Felt a bit bad posting this but reading all these websites about how my body is falling apart now I'm all of 36 had me panicking...

I don't think 35 is a big 'oh uh' age for fertility - more you have now entered a group were fertility is decreasing. you know when you enter those surveys? how long did it take you to concieve? how old are you? 13-20 21-28 29-35 you get the gist.

fertility does decline in the later 30s ......if you conceived your others quickly you may conceive quickly again...or not...there are no guarantees and no answers...except to try for a baby and see what happens...

try not to worry in advance!

its seems to me completely random. I conceived first time at 36 but a couple years later it took me much longer. I know women in their early 30s who took over 2 years the first time then very quickly the second.
