smear when ttc

I need a smear. Have it booked in for this week on what will be day 22 of cycle. Would it harm anything if I had conceived this month?

From what I have read smears during pregnancy arent done because they aren't accurate due to the changes to the cervix rather than them being dangerous :)

I had the same problem and had been delaying my smear because of this reason! In the end I went for one on cd10 of my cycle when I knew I wasn't ovulating yet & therefore couldn't be pregnant.

I mentioned it to the nurse and she said that it wouldn't do any harm but the result would most likely be inconclusive due to pregnancy. Got my results and then af arrived a few days later. (7 cycles later I got a bfp.)
