hello Smile
my boyfriend surprised me at Christmas by asking to start a family. I said I didn't want to start trying til the new year so I could just enjoy drinking over the holidays Grin but we ended up baby dancing to the sound of fireworks on new years (which I'm pretty sure is when is ovulated). today would make me 12dpo Smile no sign of af and hoping she stays away for good!

hope we all catch quick Smile
good luck for any others ttc Grin fingers crossed for you all

hi, im nearly 22 and ttc baby num 2 :) i had af start 31st December 41 days after mirena removal and all signs are pointing towards ovulation at the minute so will be BD'ing for certain this week Grin loving ttc as didn't try with my first! We're just enjoying it at the minute dont wanna put too much pressure on ourselves after having mirena removed as i know can take a little while to get back to normal. Hope you get a sticky bean soon!! xx

MalteserChick · 13/01/2015 17:26

We weren't really trying this month, just not protecting against it either Grin I'm always pretty sure when I ovulate cause I get a bit of pain, so I'm sure we're in with a chance this month Smile it quite strange, always protecting against pregnancy, now just going with the flow.
hoping for a little bean soon Grin fingers crossed for us both darlin.
(as selfish as it sounds, as much as I want a baby, I'd still be happy with af showing, as I'm enjoying all the extra baby dancing, and being so close, my OH even wants to help me chart, he's being so sweet) x jj x

colourfulbear2012 · 13/01/2015 20:52

Aww we have been the same! not really trying just loving the BD'ing haha. i think i might have ovulated or am about too had a lot of cramps on left hand side and had a bit of stretchy cm but wasnt quite ewcm though. Expecting my cycle to be a bit off whack atm though!! And aww thats so sweet of him! And no doesn't sound selfish being so close is nice Grin xx

MalteserChick · 13/01/2015 21:37

Get BDing just to be sure you don't miss it Wink it was ewcm that has me thinking I must have ovulated on new years eve, so maybe you'll ovulate tomorrow if it's not quite there yet Smile
my OH has bought me a thermometer today Smile so I've done as promised and printed him a chart, which he has lovingly stuck above the bed Grin he's so funny, I didn't realise how baby crazy he was. I'm a bit confused about what taking my temp daily is actually meant to show me, so if af starts ill have to read more into it.
I'm 13dpo today Grin fingers crossed x jj x

colourfulbear2012 · 14/01/2015 08:44

Yeah well we have been BD'ing every other day. So fingers crossed this month i dont miss it!! And bless him! Think all men are a little baby mad under all that exterior haha! When your temping i think a rise means your ovulating Grin hope af stays away for you! xx

MalteserChick · 14/01/2015 09:16

keeping my fingers crossed for us both Grin
I'm 14dpo, AF is due today, was gonna test but bottled it, scared of seeing a negative, rather see AF than a negative! might wait a little longer before I test.
I know right Smile men act all macho but are just as broody as us really x jj x

rachelrawrrr · 14/01/2015 09:43

I thought I'd pop in on this thread Grin I'm 20 and OH is 21 and we decided to ttc from the beginning of December (stopped the pill then, no AF as of yet so it's difficult to track OV) it's so exciting! the thought of trying to create a teeny, tiny little life Grin and it was OH who suggested we try :') he doesn't like me discussing CM with him though, it's really funny Grin here's hoping for us all to get a BFP soon!!

MalteserChick · 14/01/2015 14:23

welcome Smile I know, I love the idea of creating a tiny version of us.
my OH really wants a mini him, I've had to tell him that I can't promise that we'll have a boy, but I can guarantee its 50/50 Grin lol
good luck to us all x jj x

rachelrawrrr · 14/01/2015 18:20

awwww Grin I can feel myself becoming obsessed with baby making... last week my OH asked if I wanted a bottle of wine and I said I'd rather not since we're ttc and his reply was "oh yeah, I forgot"... how is it possible to forget?! Grin x

MalteserChick · 14/01/2015 18:49

lmao Grin I definitely feel slightly obsessed! I'm 14dpo and AF is now officially late, got my fingers tightly crossed.
awww Smile they try their hardest and always seem to get it wrong. men eh!
I really want to test but I'm scared to at the same time Smile I don't want to see a negative, could just wait for AF!

OP posts:
rachelrawrrr · 14/01/2015 20:29

ooooh sounds promising Grin fingers crossed for you!
I'm not able to track ovulation or anything until AF appears... and she's taking her time! Angry

when do you think you'll test? Grin x

MalteserChick · 14/01/2015 21:02

I really don't know Smile my OH is practically begging me to test, I told him I'd give AF a few days as she could just be stuck in traffic.

did you finish off the months worth of pills?!
I just had my usual withdrawal bleed straight after finishing my pack, whether or not that counts as AF, I don't know!
time can only tell, if AF shows or not Grin x jj x

Thought I would join in at 23, DH 25 and we are ttc/seeing what happens. I had my implant out end of October and we were seeing what happened but I can't help getting obsessed. He already says when we have bubby (baby) so keeps melting my heart a little.

colourfulbear2012 · 14/01/2015 21:36

Hi everyone!! Love how all men are a little gusshy under that exterior! I had coil removed in November and took me 42 days to get a proper period after my withdrawal bleed!! So can take a while after stopping contraception just keep at it :) malteaser you should test! Have fingers squeezed tightly for you!!

McRem · 14/01/2015 23:48

23 Dh 27, just started this month! Excited beyond words Smile although only stopped pill at the end of December so I'll try (unsuccessfully) to keep level headed! Good luck to all of you x

rachelrawrrr · 14/01/2015 23:49

You've got more restraint than me Grin

I did finish the pack, but not had a bit of bleeding yet, which is really frustrating! I never had AF while I was on the pill... maybe once every 8 or 9 months? now I'm desperate for her to show!

rachelrawrrr · 14/01/2015 23:56

mcRem, have you had any symptoms from coming off the pill? mine are driving me crazy Angry

mummyofonesofar · 15/01/2015 11:23

I am 22, DP 27. DS is 6 (to previous abusive ex). Been with DP over 2 years and decided 6 mnths ago that we would try. Had implant out last May and have been tracking ovulation since. Due to starting a new job we had to put it on hold as my maternity package is soo much better than SMP. Next AF due in just over a week then we can start DTD EOD for 3 weeks and hoping to fall quickly. But the wait is killing us both!

Had started preparing the guest bedroom, stripping wallpaper, calling plasterer in and generally I am obsessing over ovulation dates, potential due dates and CM consistency. We even have our girls name picked out ready.

I think TTC makes everyone go just a little bit crazy! Not even tried our first cycle yet and considering buying preseed to give us a our best chance!

McRem · 15/01/2015 12:50

Rachelrawrrr - my symptoms are much like what I assume pregnancy is like! My back and joints are aching, I'm moody, I could cry, Iv got bloating and cramps! It's horrible! Yet if it was pregnancy id love every minute of them :p

rachelrawrrr · 15/01/2015 12:57

McRem- I'm glad it's not just me! although my emotions have calmed down a bit, the nausea has gotten worse and my boobs are so sore, I feel like bloody ripping them off, hahaha!

mummyofonesofar · 15/01/2015 15:47

It is hard to stop convincing yourself you have pregnancy symptoms which has never stopped me running out for to POAS to check, try to remain calm and wait for a missed AF.
Good luck to everyone Flowers

rachelrawrrr · 15/01/2015 21:58

It's hard to wait for a missed AF, since she hasn't appeared since I came off the pill Grin

mummyofonesofar · 15/01/2015 22:10

Oops missed that bit! It does happen that people fall pregnant without seeing their AF after coming off pill yet. Fx for you.

MalteserChick · 16/01/2015 09:42

ello ladies Smile
I'm out for this month! AF came 2 days late this morning.
looking forward to next month already, want her to go now so I can get back to BDing Grin
hope your all doing well x jj x

Sorry to hear MalteserChick, let's hope Feb is a lucky month, i am on the Feb bus as didn't try this time, with AF a week away and with my usual short bleeds 3/4 days I will be DTD as much as possible with a hope of a first cycle of TTC BFP Smile
