Hey ladies!

My DH and I are going to start TTC next month when we go on holiday - I am so excited!!

I have been tracking my cycle for a few months just so I am in tune with myself and I'm aware of ovulation signs etc.

I just wondered how it took others to fall pregnant with their first baby?

I have regular periods, am 24,DH is 28. Both fit and healthy.

Look forward to hearing from you!

Congrats girls, for your BFPs! So exciting :-))

Anyone have any tips of distracting myself from thinking about pregnancy/ having a baby??! I can't stop thinking about it, wish we could start TTC sooner!

It took me 7 months to conceive my daughter when I was 28. Now trying for no.2 for 7 months with no joy as yet and not holding out much hope at 32 years old and low fertility. Good luck :)

me 27 dh 30 when we started ttc, both fit and healthy, 2years 2months down the road I'm now 29, dh 32 and we're doing first ivf cycle this month. make factor infertility despite him not drinking a drop for about 12years, never smoking, eating well and exercising even before we were ttc. its just dumb luck. hope yours is better than ours, but if you're ready don't put off trying. how much difference will it really make if baby born a month earlier!

Over a year with some breaks - now 24 weeks pregnant.

What saved my sanity was just enjoying the free time I had pre baby, carried on as normal and enjoyed being child free.

If you can, try not to test early - I had a few faint positives followed by AF on my period due date. Honestly not worth the heartache. Wait for a missed period before testing, or if you can't wait - until the latest day your period is due. :)

13 months with dd but I don't think I was as aware of ovulation and just went for middle of the cycle. The first cycle I temped I got BFP and she's 2 now!

I tried from May this year but needed surgery for ruptured cysts in September, had a month off then tried nov and BFP in December, sadly mc at 6 weeks. But I've just woken up to BFP again today, fingers crossed this one sticks :)

Good luck xx
