ttc after ERPC

hello was wondering if any ladies with knowledge or experience could help me. i had an ERPC on sunday 14 december 2014. i stopped bleeding just before christmas.

today i am starting to get 'pink wee' which is usually first sign of af. i wasnt expecting it so soon, could it be?

if so are we safe ttc after this af? i know some people ttc straight away but i went overboard on google and saw something about thin lining and further mc and waiting so have scared myself a bit.

i know mc arent caused by us but i really really want to do everything i can to give myself the best chance next time around.

just for info it was my first pregnancy i discovered mmc at 9 wks had stopped developing just over 5 wks. was 13 or 14 wks when had ERPC.

Oh bless you! My first pg was a mmc. Found out at 13 weeks but probably hasn't been a heartbeat since 6.
I fell apart and grieved. A lot.
I had one period and then started ttc. I hadn't heard about thin lining. I was just concerned about dating.
It took my three months to fall pg. he's now 11!

Sounds exactly like my mmc with my first pg. I did have light bleeding & spotting on and off for a couple of weeks after the main bleed post-ERPC had finished. My first period 'proper' came 8 weeks after the ERPC and I got a BFP again the following cycle (successful this time)
It can all be a mixed mixed-up for a bit while your hormones etc get sorted out. Be kind to yourself, and good luck for TTC-ing again

Hello sorry to here about your loss!

I had a mmc September 2013, and had an Wrockwardine the first week of October. 10 days after the op I had a one day bleed and then 28 days after the op I started my Af and my cycle reverted back to normal. We waited due to genetic counselling and found out we were pregnant (by accident) the following January and we now have a 5 month old ds.

Many people do ttc straight away and drs prefer you to wait till after your first Af for dating. You should do what you feel is right for you.

thank you ladies. i know what i read on google is probably rubbish but its enough to scare me off. im already takig folic acid again going to get soe conception vits once af is out the way.

does it sound a bit soon for af then? its not quite 4 weeks since op yet although i did have complications prior to erpc and the erpc was an emergency op for retained products.

i am excited and scared all at the same time. big boost hearing all your success stories though thank you
