Pains

I am new to this and have recently found out that I am pregnant (Monday).
I had an ecptopic 4 years ago and lost a tube.

I came off the pill 12 months ago exactly and have missed my period this month by 5 days so far. Have tested 4 times and positive.

My doctors are rubbish and went on Wednesday, their tests are not as sensitive so it was inconclusive, going back on Monday.

Have had bad cramping in my lower stomach for a couple of days now, which after speaking to the docotr last nightm, was put down to wind..

I am really worried, no bleeding or anything at the moment, but the pain is similar to period pain, but not as intense and it is more of a twinge.

I woke up this morning with a twinge on my left side but this is the side where I lost my tube which is odd so I don't think it is ectopic.

Is this normal, my doctor spoke to me last night as if I was some crazy woman!

Please help ! Me and my husband want this baby so much

I am just so worried but my doctor just makes me feel like a drain on society. I have lost all hope in the NHS because with my ecptopic the same doctor tested me as negative and sent me home, only to find out 6 weeks later that he mis-diagnosed me and I was taken straight into surgery after collapsing at a shopping centre.

The pains are more intense when I breath in as if I have been down the gym for a serious work out. And I have an overwhelming urge to wee and also nightmare wind, which is very embaressing.

I have read so much about pains and twinges I think I am very concious of it after what happened last time.

Can't you ask to have a different doctor? It's awful when doctors don't do their jobs properly. You need to be seen by someone that makes you feel at ease - that is your RIGHT! Especially at a time like this after the nightmare you have been through.
Don't worry about being thought of as a drain on society - even if that's what they think - who cares what they think huh!! Setting your mind at ease is the priority here!

Thank you- I am feeling abit better about it all. It is such a nightmare as they are the only doctors for miles, so have the monopoly!

My last AF was 10th September and I usually 28-30 days so from my understanding this would make me 4 weeks..

The positive result on all 9 tests I have taken were quite faint, but I assume this because of the Hormone?

Fingers crossed for Monday but thank you for your thoughts x

Although it is no substitute for a proper medical opinion I just wanted to tell you that I had period-type pains from wk4-wk6 of my pregnancy (but twingy not crampy) and my test were fairly faint until 6wks too. AF type feelings are very common in early pregnancy, due to implantation and your uterus stretching.

Thank you for all your messages. Went for a scan today I am exactly 5 weeks and unfortunately they couldn't see anything and my HCG levels are 27 so the doctors has told me that I have most likely miscarried. I don't have any pains nor do I have any spotting so I want to still be hopeful for the follow up blood test on Thursday but 27 doesnt seem like a good level for 5 weeks does it?

I seem to have missed this post. Sorry to hear that you may have miscarried ... what did the follow up blood test reveal?? did you get that today? Hope you are doing ok?? thinking of you x
