Hi all, I'm brand new to this! 27 and TTC #1. Came off the pill mid september and have been trying without stressing (or trying not to) and not tracking ovulation etc. My cycles seemed to return to normal almost straight away and my cycles are between 28-30 days. AF is now (what I think to be) 3 days late. No other symptoms but I have been having mild cramps on and off since thursday night. Thought this would mean AF would arrive friday morning as I only get cramps the day AF arrives, and maybe the day after. My question is, when should I test? and is it likely that I would be pregnant with no other symptoms? I don't want to be disappointed as in the back of my mind I don't think I am, but wonder how long I should wait?

Just test, it is the only way to know.

But are false negatives more likely the earlier I test?

If your period is late , you will not get a false reading.

Read the instructions on the test, as they are a bit different for each test. They will tell you a lot!

I'm testing in the morning and so super nervous. Full of butterflies and my heart keeps beating so fast. Trying hard not to be hopeful but it's hard.
