Hi all

Am new to the site and am planning to TTC in Jan for our first baby.
Due to finish my final pack of pill in next 10 days.

What I would love to know is what would you do differently given the chance or best advice for first timers

Thank you x

Ideally if you can fit the first couple of months just dtd as often as pos around ovulation.

Avoid over stressing so I would say for the first 6 months stay away from these conception threads, ovulation sticks, pregnancy tests and symptom watching. It will only drive you crazy. Stay healthy and Just enjoy the process with your dp.

Once you start on these threads you will be addicted and become obsessive.

Best of luck

Know thy cycles: mid-cycle is usually when you will ovulate. Look out for increased vaginal discharge - the clearer and runnier it is, the more fertile you are (think egg white - hence 'egg white cervical mucous').

Just have great sex without thinking about getting pregnant.
Don't freak out if it takes longer than you think.

I would say not to manic symptom watch too much. Before I got pregnant and I was ttc I thought I had every symptom going, when I found out I was actually pregnant I didn't have anything I expected to have xx
