Did anyone 'just know' they were pregnant before testing?

I've heard lots of people in real life mention that they 'just knew' they were pregnant. Did anyone on here feel that? And were the right or wrong??

I suspected with both my children and wasn't surprised at all, more 'thought so', but not sure I ever definitely 'knew' before testing.
I was however certain from the moment I found out that they were both girls, and they were.

Did anyone 'just know' and how often were you right or wrong?

I may sound crazy but last time I swear I felt the sperm heading up my fallopian tube! We hadn't had unprotected sex for 5.5 years though so could have been more a reaction to it Shock.
About a week later I started with tingly nipples, tiredness and immense hunger so was quite sure i was pg b4 AF was late.

rachelrawrrr · 30/12/2014 19:54

mrsgentle none as of yet, but still no AF! And my nausea is getting so much worse.. I can smell the cat food from the other side of the room and my shampoo is making me feel so sick Sad I reckon if I am, it'll be a good couple of weeks until things show up.... still peeing on a stick every other day though Wink

any news with you? Grin xx

Mrsgentle2014 · 30/12/2014 19:59

haha.. I feel like I'm peeing on a stick CONSTANTLY! But, each time, they are strong BFN. Nausea has stayed the same - getting waves of it every now and then. Dreams continue to be SO vivid - OH said its like Im running in my sleep sometimes. WEIRD.
My boobs are so sore and my nipples are unbelievably sensitive - the cold hurts them at the moment.
Crampy feelings and back ache but NO AF.
:( Just wish AF would just come already, so I can continue!

Mrsgentle2014 · 30/12/2014 20:00

How many days dpo are you, rachel?

rachelrawrrr · 30/12/2014 20:15

sounds exactly like me! it's just awful Sad

I don't even know because I'm only 2 and a bit weeks off the pill, so I've got absolutely no idea Confused not charted any temps or anything (seems confusing) I just don't remember feeling this terrible coming off of other forms of contraception Hmm

time shall tell, but I don't want to wait hahaha Grin

Mrsgentle2014 · 30/12/2014 20:19

I came off my pill in August and since then Ive had 2 periods - one brought on by an internal ultrasound scan... so no idea - people do and can fall straight away - its just the not knowing isnt it?
Im half tempted to go and buy a first response early detection test .. if that doesnt show anything - im done and thats me out haha :)

rachelrawrrr · 30/12/2014 20:32

when I'd had the implant removed and stopped the depo, by this time AF had come Shock I know it could just be my body regulating itself, but I just feel dreadful! Sad
I've gone and bought some cheap first response ones from amazon, got 15 for just under £3, the reviews say they can be used up to 6 days before you'd usually show Grin if that's any help? X

Mrsgentle2014 · 30/12/2014 20:34

oh really?? what strength are they? xx

rachelrawrrr · 30/12/2014 20:36

I think they pick up from a 10 strength (is that clear? I'm new hahaha)

Mrsgentle2014 · 30/12/2014 20:41

ahhh yes, i understand! I just ordered a load... still fighting the urge to go buy an early detection one though as my husband is at work tonight and im bored and I want wine. haha

rachelrawrrr · 30/12/2014 20:44

I know what you mean haha I've got half a bottle in the fridge, from boxing day but I just daren't touch it Blush although I may just go and eat lots of ice cream Grin just made tea and I can't eat it Envy

Rox19 · 30/12/2014 20:47

Yes 2 times I fainted around9/10 dpo and 3 times (3 sep preg) was vvvv drunk on virtually no wine, like 2 small glasses.

rachelrawrrr · 30/12/2014 20:52

I've just checked the calendar and it's actually 3 and a half weeks since I stopped the pill... bloomin' hell body, if you're regulating, you're taking your sweet time! Angry

Mrsgentle2014 · 30/12/2014 21:29

My body, so far, has taken 4 months post pill and still hasnt regulated - it can take years for some people! :(

rox - I had one glass of wine over christmas and felt absolutely out of it!! keep feeling Dizzy. NO IDEA what is happening..

runs out to tesco to buy another test

rachelrawrrr · 30/12/2014 21:39

I'm hoping my early response tests are here Friday or Saturday, the ones I have in the house aren't anything special Sad maybe I'm just hoping too much :/

Mrsgentle2014 · 30/12/2014 21:50

I dont think I can wait that long! haha I feel that way too... the longer this goes on, the more likely I think im not... x

rachelrawrrr · 30/12/2014 21:59

I really don't want to wait either haha
I know what you mean, I'm just so desperate to be upduffed that it's probably all psychological :/

Mrsgentle2014 · 30/12/2014 22:25

very true.. i think I may just go to tesco and have a bimble around there... :)

rachelrawrrr · 30/12/2014 22:25

Well if you do, we'll be waiting eagerly for the response Grin

Mrsgentle2014 · 30/12/2014 22:28

I can tell you now, it will be BFN. Im not expecting anything else at the moment...

rachelrawrrr · 30/12/2014 22:30

Sad I hope you get a BFP soon, it's an awful wait

Mrsgentle2014 · 30/12/2014 22:42

TBH, I dont know what I really want it to be.. just want to know either way - BFP or AF. :)

rachelrawrrr · 30/12/2014 22:55

That's actually just how I'm feeling haha. I just want things to settle down so I can actually know when it does happen Grin

Mrsgentle2014 · 30/12/2014 23:12

right, to tesco it is! cya in a bit! x

musicalendorphins2 · 30/12/2014 23:15

Not with my first, but after that, yes. The symptoms began before I missed a period.
