That must be a relief, Ducky!

Well, I'm so exhausted today I don't know how I'll cope when the baby's here and I'm having even more interrupted sleep! I don't know if it's the anaemia (which I think the midwife said was mild, and I've been taking my iron) or just generally all my energy going to growing my baby, but it's just ridiculous! I've had a full 9 hours' sleep and feel like I haven't slept at all! We were supposed to go for Sunday lunch and DP's grandparents' but he had to go without me, as I couldn't face leaving the house I was going to put up the curtains in the nursery as we've got all the furniture in there now, but can't even bring myself to do that! Hope this doesn't last for the next 10 weeks!

It was a year yesterday since my lovely mum died. I have missed her so much. DH bought me a big bunch of winter flowers for the house to remember her, pussy willow, berries, dogwood stems. They are lovely. Lots of colour and height. I have put them next to her photo.

Who is due to give birth next? There are a few of us in the next few weeks aren't there?

DS has been so good today. He is a very easy, happy baby, very content. He makes lots of noises now and is very wriggly and we get definite smiles but he is still learning that.

Lil I was very anemic I think it's just pg in general makes you exhausted, I think it was from about 30 weeks the tiredness really kicked in with me. Rest as much as you can

Oo that's good Ducky well done DS! :) my DS woke at 4am this morning and is still up now im struggling to get him to sleep :(

Oh Lulu, how nice of DH at such a difficult time for u. must be hard, but as Ducky said she'd be very proud of u.

Lill I think it's just being pg that makes u so tired. Lol all that energy to grow a baby :)

I must be getting old. DH was all romantic and fancied an early night. I said no because I wanted to watch 'Last Tango in Halifax'. I am sitting with my furry slippers, dressing gown and a mug of tea with my feet under the blanket on the sofa.

I don't think that was AF the other week, had stringy red blood for about two days but only when wiping. Nothing since. Ds is 8 weeks now, when do you think I would need to ask gp? I would have thought with bottle feeding they would be back by now. With dd I got first AF 3 weeks after birth

Lulu I'd also turn down an early night for that!

And Ducky im not sure :s I bled on and off for a long time after DS then had implant in when he was about 8/9 weeks old and bled constantly on it till I had it out in March lol so I can't really help :s

If I hadn't have had AF id be saying I think I'm pregnant lmao!
Been getting headache n feeling so sick quite often. Like now I feel ridiculously sick! :( n im so tired all the time!
Really hope I'm not coming down with something!

DH is fast asleep. DS has had his feed and he is fast asleep too. Just me and my iPad.

Hope you aren't coming down with something Cupcake. How is DH behaving himself these days?

Lulu, sounds like a very relaxing night! :) hows DS doing with his sleeping? Is he going quite long without feeds now?

And DH is being okay, not fantastic just okay. And I hope I'm not coming down with something either. Struggling to eat breakfast as I just feel sick to my stomach :(

I'm really ill tonight have a really bad migraine and feel like I'm going to throw up.

Yeah how bloody nice of him! So who takes care of me? No one. :( so sick of everything.

There's something going round by us making everyone ill, I think that's why ds got ill. Blatantly mil fault telling dh's poorly niece to kiss him on the face when I was out the room

Hope you manage to get some good sleep tonight! When your ds gets up is it just to play? They don't wake up for food until that age do they?

I'm hoping that ds will only wake up once a night but can't see that happening any time soon!

Yeah there's deffo something Oving round! And me working in a doctors surgery doesn't help. Lol!

Yeah he only wakes up to play or have a cuddle or a drink of juice. He doesn't have any feeds anymore. He has a bottle of cows milk in the morning and before bed.

It DS will sleep straight through soon Ducky! He'll just suddenly do it out of the blue trust me! :p

I hope your right cupcake! Do you remember how old ds was when he slept through? I bet there's always something to catch working at the doctors! How is the job going?

DS was 9 weeks old when he slept 6 hours straight for the 1st time ever, then I think at about 12 weeks old he just suddenly had his last feed at 9/10pm and woke at 8am! Just did it out the blue and then carried on with that until he got very ill and ended up being in A&E most nights lol!
And the jobs going rele well thank u Ducky :) it's hard sometimes tho as I put through patients documents and ive seen a lot of miscarriages and then a lot of abortions and the reasons for them are sometimes quite selfish and it gets me a bit upset. Had to do a child death notification, he was born just a week before DS and died a couple of weeks ago. I just cried putting it though the computer. It's a good job just very emotional! Lol

Today is a year since I was told my baby no longer had a heartbeat

He had that Rotavirus so was throwing up constantly and having exploding nappies every hour! It was awful.
Speaking of which, DS has been up since 5:30am throwing up and hasnt stopped yet! I'm having the carpets cleaning in a few hours which is lucky as the carpet has sick everywhere lol!!

Aw Ducky :( must be a hard time for u. Big hugs ((())) I hope u have lots og support and cuddles today. I'm sure ur DS will be there to make sure his mummy is okay

I am hoping ds is ok on his new milk, it's been hard to keep track because if him being ill and his last allergy didn't show up until 4 weeks

It's been 4 weeks now and he seems to be a bit fussy when feeding and had a tiny drop of blood in his poo this morning fingers crossed he's ok! I don't want him to have to have the nastier milk

His body is probably still adjusting to it Ducky, can take a while for his digestive system to get used to it.

Omg had the carpets done and they look so so clean!!! Honestly there were a lot of stains on it but they have all come out :) im very happy!

But have to go out for 4 hours now as that's how long it takes to dry :s

Wow Tori what lovely friends you have, I don't think I'll be having a baby shower as I don't know anyone here. All my friends live over a 100 miles away. It doesn't matter though as we can buy anything we need but baby showers are really lovely!

I bought a huge nappy cake for a friend once, like five tiers! It was so much fun baby shopping.

ducky sorry today will be hard for you, but think about how far you've come now. You've got your beautiful DS here safe and sound now and so much to look forward to.
