loving the boys' names - Joseph and Jesse are both lovely

Ducky23 · 18/01/2015 18:38

I stopped for a few days the other week (tmi warning!) then I had like a pink heavy discharge, then it stopped the other day, now it's like stringy bright red stuff Confused

iamdivergent · 18/01/2015 19:58

Just thought it's like the duggars in here with jayden, Joseph and Jesse Grin

LuluJakey1 · 18/01/2015 20:31

Oh God I haven't even contemplated AF coming back yet. I haven't had any more bleeding though so I do think that has stopped.

We have had snow this afternoon but it isn't lying. It is very cold. I am contemplating leaving the heating on all night. DS is having his tummy time on his mat with DH playing with him.

Ducky, does your DS have a dummy? I am wondering how you know if they need one. Sometimes DS is a bit whingey when he is in his moses basket and I think it might settle him.

Cupcake92 · 18/01/2015 20:39

Bleeding after pregnancy is so unpredictable! I constantly bled until I went on the implant at 8 weeks past birth lol!
I think I'm about to get AF too, due in 4 days, I'm so so so so so so soooooooo bloated! It's awful! Don't think we caught the egg this month.

I'm contemplating leaving the heating on too Lulu it's absolutely freezing here! And I gave DS a dummy and it helped him settle so so much :)

Iam that's true! The 3 J's ! :)

Ducky23 · 18/01/2015 20:44

I know it's so cold! Confused

Ds had a dummy and it is ace at settling him, it has come in handy as he's been ill, it keeps him calm for a bit but he will only have nuk dummies. I have tried every other dummy I could find but he only wants nuk ones!

Mil went mad when I said he would have a dummy, so I make sure he has it in his mouth when we see her Grin

LuluJakey1 · 18/01/2015 20:52

I might go up to town tomorrow and get him one. He is on the sofa on DH's chest now, snuggling. I can leave him with DH tomorrow. First time I will have been out without him.

Ducky23 · 18/01/2015 20:58

I found most of them too big for their little mouths, I had the nuk ones as he got them from the hospital. They gave them to him as they put the pain killers on them when he had his canula in and things.

Cupcake92 · 18/01/2015 20:59

Yes Ducky! DS only had nuk ones! Micky mouse ones haha Grin I kept loosing them or they'd get all mucky and id have to go and buy the exact same ones! Do they have a flat bit on the bottom of the test? (If u know what I mean?!)

Lulu it'll feel weird the 1st time going out with out him, I guarantee u'll keep thinking uve left him somewhere then remember he's at home with DH Grin

Cupcake92 · 18/01/2015 21:12

Can't stand my DH atm he's so moody recently and being purposely annoying! He needs to grow up. Seriously.

OP posts:
Ducky23 · 18/01/2015 21:15

Yea they have the flat bit Grin ds has the plain hospital ones and some fancy white ones, need to get more as his hospital ones are on the way out!

Stupid DH Confused I know everyone said about accepting him or leaving him but I completely understand that that isn't always possible Hmm

LuluJakey1 · 18/01/2015 22:09

Can't be easy Cupcake but he is what he is. He might grow up as he gets older. You can just hope.

DS is lying on our bed in his sleep suit quite happily kicking his legs and waving his arms. No sign of tiredness or wanting his bottle. Grin

I have been watching Last Tango in Halifax. I love it. DH came up stairs with the baby and left me to it because he was annoying me singing to him and playing with him. Smile

Cupcake92 · 18/01/2015 22:09

I think TTCing may be put on hold if this month isn't successful. As much as I want a baby so so bad, maybe loosing 2 is a sign not to have any more with DH? I dunno. N it's not easy to just go. I'd have to move out as he wouldn't leave n I can't afford deposits n he said to me today "if u ever divorced me u do know I'd take u to court for custody of DS" n I said over my dead body, no one would take my DS away from me, so he said "well that's because u won't divorce me"

OP posts:
LuluJakey1 · 18/01/2015 22:24

He would not get custody of DS. He is blackmailing you by threatening that Cupcake.

Cupcake92 · 19/01/2015 04:43

That's my biggest fear Lulu. There's a lot of things that if we separated would be very hard. If it was as easy as saying bye bye and him just going I would but it's not that easy :/
He seems to be getting close to a woman at his work anyway as he's constantly texting her and talking about her.
Life is rather hard lol!
But ive made my mind up, once this cycle is over no more TTC until I know what im doing.

Ducky23 · 19/01/2015 05:05

SadSadSad Cupcake he's an ass.

You mentioned your family wouldn't approve if they knew you were married, is that because they don't like him?

My little man just slept 7 hours straight!!!! BlushBlushBlush

LuluJakey1 · 19/01/2015 06:15

Cupcake - constantly texting and talking about a woman at work. Don't put up with that. Stop him mentioning her. I hate mentionitis. It is pathetic. Call him out on it and see what his reaction is.

7 hours!!!! Ducky that is amazing. DS has managed a 4 and a 3. You must be over the moon.

Cupcake92 · 19/01/2015 07:50

Wow Ducky that's amazing! Well done DS! Can u tell him to teach my DS to sleep like that? lol he was up at 3:30am :( so I'm going to be very tired for work.
And yeah they've always sort of not liked him because of his past and how his family are etc. they always say that he'll never be able to support me and DS. They are all quite old fashioned, belive the man should provide and take care of the family etc, where as Im the one to pay for most things and I do everything.

And Lulu she's the one who keeps being late and has him waiting outside in the cold for ages and loosing him money! I said to him u should be mentioning This to head office as its really bad to be opening the shop up an hour late and more than once. All he said was "no I like her she's really nice so I ain't gonna say anything otherwise they won't let me work with her. Besides she's buying me some fags to appologise" I just said he was pathetic.

Ducky23 · 19/01/2015 08:10

Well he slept until 7.45 Shock but since waking up he seems to have a cough Hmm he seems fine in himself though. There's always something Sad

Siarie · 19/01/2015 09:42

Yay for long sleeps Ducky! Boo for the cough though. I've got one emergency dummy in the cupboard just in case. I want to try soothing using blankets first, both me and DH had a blanket.

Only reason for that is because my niece has her dummy still and she talks with it in. It's hard to hear her, so I'd rather have something that I don't need to wean away. I had my blanket for a long long time! But it doesn't harm so I was left to grow out of it.

I'm 26 weeks today, my app says just one more week left of the secondary trimester now. I can't believe I'll be in the final stage soon?!

Ducky23 · 19/01/2015 11:32

Well, it looks like he has a stinking cold Hmm

Siarie · 19/01/2015 12:23

Oh Ducky, it's one thing after the next isn't it? Cake

I'm struggling with iron tablets at the moment, I stopped taking them a couple of days ago as they were making things a tad slow Blush, I was literally storing up days and days of food! But now I feel funny again and I'm pale again so need to start taking them again.

I've got a blood test next week for iron, thyroid and also my glucose test so should be able to see how well I'm doing with it.

Ducky23 · 19/01/2015 18:00

I phoned the drs and they said it's probably a cold, but then he's been asleep all day and I've had to wake him for feeds so called the HV, they said it's probably a cold but get him checked over, so I went back to the gp and they checked his temp and everything and have prescribed calpol. My poor little man Sad

LuluJakey1 · 19/01/2015 19:17

Oh Ducky, he is in the wars isn't he! Hope he feels better after the calpol.
