New thread girlies!! :) hope this is okay.

We have decided on Joseph Guy. Joseph after my dad, and his dad and his dad and Guy is DH's middle name and his dad's middle name and was his grandad's christian name.

So he is Joseph/Joe.

He spends his days eating, peeing, pooping, sleeping, snuffling and studying his hands! Doesn't cry much at all yet. Loves cuddles. He has a seriously cute face and DH is just an absolute push-over already. We had a little squabble this afternoon over who was going to do the bottle and get the cuddle. He won

We have decided he is going to work on Monday for two weeks and will then take his two weeks paternity leave and will be back at work for 2 weeks and it will be half term so he'll have another week with him then. So I am by myself from Monday. Am quite looking forward to it- I will have all the cuddles then

Ducky how is ur DS? How's H been with him?

For some reason my stomach is very tender tonight. If I press on it or lie on it, it hurts. I think I just need a good nights sleep if I'm honest!

Ds is wonderful thanks cupcake he's still up at least every 2 hours in the night though! And I have got him on infacol so he thinks I'm the devil!

He's getting heavy aswell!

Aaww bless him ducky! :) infacol was a life saver! Aww I love newborns, they always need a cuddle! :) I miss that!

How much did he weigh when he was born Ducky?

He was 8 1.5 when he was born, he was last weighed a week ago and was 10lb!

Think he's being weighed again tomorrow.

Have you managed toget more sleep?

He's putting on weight like a pro! :) good on him! :)
And sort of, I went bed at 10 last night, DS stayed asleep all night but DH woke me up at 1:30am when he decided to come off his game and come to bed and make a ton of noise! Then DS woke at 7am and threw up everywhere haha. It's going to be a long day today

Oh gosh I think I've officially turned crazy! Went out today to just get some food shopping come home owning a new car!! Haha! Get to pick it up tomorrow morning. A 2011 Ford Focus. So glad to get rid of my car it's brought so much bad luck to me and since the crash I had I get so worried when driving it! Glad to be having a sparkly newish car! :)

Yay for a new car, you're not wrong that car has literally been the start of all the bad luck you've had recently. I hope it is the start of a new trend for you cupcake.

Been doing a little more nursery shopping, earlier today I ordered this cute mobile for the nursery www.etsy.com/uk/listing/210984738/elephant-and-balloon-baby-mobile-pink?ref=cat_gallery_18 I think it's pretty and we've picked an elephant safari theme with pink and grey so fits nicely.

Going to be doing some crafting too once everything arrives to make animal lidded glass jars!

Cupcake! Congratulations! We need a new car but have been putting it off. I HATE looking at cars.Neither of us know anything about them.

I am even more weepy today. We went for a 3 mile walk which perked me up.

DS is a very good little boy He pulled a face like a smile today but it was wind. I don't know if DH will manage to leave us on Monday for work. He has just said 'You go and I'll stay here'. .............No!

We are so tired. He woke up three times last night. We both wake up and stay awake. I told DH to sleep in the spare room tonight and tomorrow so he is ready for work but he says he is not doing that.

He is sitting in an armchair with DS snoozing on his chest.

We are just packing to go home from MILs about time too. Not looking forward to work on Monday!

I have bought him two outfits today- pictures attached because I can't do the link to our local baby shop in the village. DH says the one with the shirt is for a girl. What do you think? Is it? It says boy. It won't fit him yet anyway, it is for the Spring.

I was in Italy for Christmas and new year - without internet - but I'm glad to see all those beautiful baby faces!!! They're sooooo cute!! I can't wait to cuddle my own little boy now :)

By the way, who is supposed to be the next? I'm due the 20th February only.

DH tonight as we are sitting in bed, me in my big maternity pants and a tshirt, with a cup of tea, him with DS on his chest after a feed. 'D'you think we'll ever have sex again love?'
Me 'Nope. Do you?'
DH 'Nope. Just too knackered. Might feel up to it once he's left home'
Me 'We'll be 60'
DH 'Shit......And I think he needs a nappy change. There's just been a bit of. an explosion and there's that smell I'm starting to recognise'.

I'm on CD 14 now should Ov on CD 19 so my dtd marathon haas started and I can wait for it to end haha!!

Lulu, after being cut like that I am never letting anything near my doo dah ever again I think!

Ds slept for 3 hours straight twice in a row last night sounds stupid but that extra hour of unbroken sleep has made a world of difference for me! I feel like a differnt person!

I think it's you next Steph, I'm due on 25th Feb, although might be induced earlier. Saw DSis over Christmad, she asked if I was "looking forward" to the birth! Err, no?!

cupcake, the Focus is great, just exchanged my 2011 one (it's motability so have to change every 3 years), haven't had a thing wrong with it! Now got an estate so we have more space for DC2!

I bet that hour makes a difference Ducky! DS manages about 2 hrs ish, sometimes 2 1/2, but sometimes he wakes up in between and just seems to want a bit of a cuddle. I wonder if we shouldn't be doing it but we do. It just takes 5-10 mins to get him back to sleep and he stops as soon as we have him cuddled in but I wonder if we are encouraging him and if he would just settle if we didn't pick him up but that seems hard.

Honestly Cupcake - I wouldn't care at the mnute if we never did it again and I don't think DH would. My belly is like a blancmange, my bits are still sore and my bowels are still getting back to normal. Dh looks a sight because of lack of sleep. But if you gave each of us a choice between an afternoon with DS or an afternoon in bed together- without the current exhaustion and physical things- we would both choose DS. Our minds are not on sex, definitely. I think it is nature's way of making sure you don't have another one too quickly.

We are taking him to Sainsbury's now. That seems like excitement
