Ovulations Test

Can Clearblue Digital Ovulation Test give you a false positive? Just wondered how accurate they were at detecting ovulation. Also is it too late to test at 7pm?

Hi, I'm not sure about those tests but I was going to buy one today. (Sorry for any grafic detail) I seemed to be producing CM the day after my period finished. No dry days. I'm not due to ovulate till Thursday but there just seems to be more of the stuff earlier in the cycle. Could I be ovulating early. Thought to test would tell me but My MIL incepted me on the way to the chemist.

If your menstrual cycle is irregular in nature I would be wary about using opk's at all. These kits actually work on two principles - namely that women have only one rise in LH every month and that such a rise is immediately followed by ovulation. Both these statements are simply not true.

If your cycle is irregular as well I would seek a blood test to see what your hormone levels are like. If a blood test was done the levels of LH and FSH (follicle stimulation hormone) needs to be compared. This can give valuable information.
