Hello there. I thought the same when I started ttc. I am now on my 4th cycle of ttc and feel helpless everytime af arrives.

I probably haven't helped but it can take months and months. Everyone is different but I wouldn't feel any less positive as (easier said than done I know) you need keep on top of yourself. Your time will come for bubba 2, just relax, enjoy baby dancing and hopefully it will not be too long for you.

Good luck! Join us on the TTC in October thread.

don't read any more ttc threads just yet! Just enjoy bonking every 2 or 3 times a week and see what happens. I really wouldn't start to stress about whether it will or it won't happen until WAY further down the line if I were you.

Really, don't worry about it at this stage. Most of my real life friends got pregnant really easily (within 3 months or so), and several of them on the first time of trying (or not even trying). There's one who had real problems (but knew in advance that she would as a result of various medical conditions) and then me in the middle taking about a year.

For most people, if you have sex 2-3 times a week, you'll get pregnant within the first year of trying without having to know about when you ovulate, or anything like that.

If you have sex at the right time of the month, there's only about a 20% chance of that resulting in a pregnancy - I am sometimes amazed that the human race didn't die out centuries ago!

It must be difficult, especially when you fell so easily with your first, but keep your chin up. And if you're not pg within a year of trying (or 6 months if you're closer to 35) get some medical advice.

Hugs,
Artoo.
