I heve been on micronor for 4 months now and have had a regular 21 day cycle with it except this month I had some light spotting mid cycle and am now 10 days late.

I have also recently been told that it is not as effective if you are over 11 stone sheeesh they could of told me this before cause I weigh nearly 15 stone.

So the big question is has the pill stoped my periods or has it failed me and am I expecting. Should i test? If so where can I get a cheap but accurate test from?

TEST!

My pill is Mycrogynon and although it has never affected my periods before, it has started playing havoc with them over the last few cycles.... either not coming on at all, light spotting or full on 5 days of hell.

if you only want a cheap test, go to poundland - 2 in a box.

If you want more precise try a supermarket own brand - sainsburys do 2 in a box for £7 or so.

Hope you get the result you want.

Not sure what result I want.

Half of me would love another one but not just yet as I have a 4yr old and a 1 yr old.

Dh is adamant no more.

Looks like I am off to buy a test then. I suppose I knew this was the anserw really just needed a kick up the bum to go and spend money I don't really have to answer a question I don't realy want to be asking at the moment iyswim.

Got a negative. So looks as though it is just my pill messing my hormone levels up.
