ttc n confused am i or arnt i

i came off pill loestrin the 21 day on 7 days off at the end of june so we could ttc
i have had regular periods since still same 28 days apart from last one was a day late so 29
i had last period on 1st sept due on again 29th sept stil on sign i have tested numerous times with cheap tests usually if i test i come on ( dont we all ) and no sign was really badly sick could'nt eat on sat day after i was due anyway i had 2 doctors tests now one on tues 3rd oct 4 days late and one yesterday mon 9th 10 days late all come back negative
i havent got a clue whats happening i realy did think i was pregnant but not sure now dont no if its a phantom one or it just pill or what
any help would be great im booked in for a blood test on thurs 12th so they can test me that way

Hi there!

I used to take Loestrin, the 21 day one. When I came off it I went straight back to a 28 day cycle for three months then it all went haywire for three months, cycles were 21 days, 36 days and 25 days in that order. It then settled down to 27 days and I conceived 6 months later.

It's only my experience, but yes I had the same problems and the GP said I was just readjusting after the pill.

Currently 9wks pg, so got there eventually. Hope you do too.

the pill should be out of your system by now, so I wouldn't have thought it was that.
On first reading your post I thought that the GP had done repeated blood tests, but then I realised that you have done repeated urine tests at your doctors but no blood test yet. The doctors' tests aren't that sensitive so they will only tell you what your home pregnancy tests tell you - but that won't definitely mean you aren't pregnant if they are negative. It does seem that some women have pregnancies that take longer to show up on hpts - and that may be the case with you. It may simply be too early still. The blood test will be the best way to tell, although when will you get the results of that - next week? Ages. By that time you'll probably know either way anyway in the form of a +ve or your AF arriving.

oh im getting nervous now i absolutley hate blood tests feel sick n the lot n im a 24 yr old grown woman !
hopefully after the vampire has bn at me later i should no by mon? if i am or not stopt doin home tests gettin me down n they sooooo expensive for the good ones did a clear blue n didnt do it rite so hey god help me oh i so hope i am

Good luck. Do you think you'll know by Monday? Ask the person who takes your bloods how quick the results come back - when I had mine for something else it took 10 working days!

i asked the nurse n she said i can phone up today 5ish to c but they may not be back till mon or maybe tues
has anyone eva had a blood pregnancy test just wondering the nurse sadi if it comes back less than 2 im not

Hi chickenpies - I get the same, awful nausea a week before I'm due on and awful period pain during this time too. All goes when period arrives. Convinced myself I was preggers the first few months, then got worried the latter months. Been to see GP who says it hormones from coming off pill in May. Al depends how long you've been on the pill for as to how long it takes to leave your system apparently. Having a scan to check tho
