Hello! I'm needing a TTC buddy as I'm finding myself constantly over thinking things and it's driving my husband mad so would be great to discuss it with someone else in the same boat!

I'm TTC baby number 3. I came off the pill 3 days ago and I'm very impatient, want to get started right now! Anyone else in a similar situation want to buddy up?

When does everyone tend to test? Because i'm constantly symptom spotting i've got in a bad habit of testing really early which I think is meant to be very unreliable (not to mention expensive!). I think this month I will wait to be late first

Rule of thumb is the day you are expecting your period... rule of symptom spotters on mumsnet is 10dpo... When is AF due Nursedoc?

nursedoctor you can buy hpt in poundland called First Vue. Apparently they're pretty good so stock up! AF is due on Monday for me but chart is pants so looking to the next couple of months instead! (hopefully will start clomid) Fx to you all xx

Currently ovulating cantbelieve so AF not due until 7th Feb. Previous months I was testing around 2 days prior to due AF as am a crazy nutcase driving myself mad silly (and expensive) I know, but first response grabbed me with their 6 days before slogans! Definitely think overthinking and anticipating can make the whole process harder.

I tested at 10 dpo... I had ssoooo many symptoms and sort of knew it was time to test.

Hello ladies! Sorry I went awol, it's been manic here. Currently on cd2 af turned up right on cue so my cycle length is 50 currently days lol! Massive congratulations on the BFPs! and fingers crossed for everyone else this cycle!

Hi MrsLowe ah that sucks that AF came! 50 days isn't nice, are you trying anything to regulate? I'm on CD , currently 6dpo. Don't feel any different really. I did have a fair bit of creamy CM today but I don't know if that means anything. I've got a feeling that I'll be seeing AF by the end of the weekend. I think this month may be the worst because we have put so much effort in and actually got a positive OPK for the first time ever... ah well! Here's to shagging!

Glinda there is nothing worse than feeling like you have done everything right and it hasn't worked! There is probably quite a lot of truth to the concept of when you stop "trying" it happens, but I am far too neurotic to attempt that!

I used SI last cycle but in fairness this is only my second period since coming off the depo so hopefully this cycle will be shorter. I had a lot more ewcm last cycle so fingers crossed for this one :)

Same Emma321q I started out hoping to plan the exact month of birth and soon realised it just isn't realistic for most people. Nov/Dec is the busiest time for my husband at work, and therefore not an ideal time for babies. But I'm now in the "sod it we will make it work" mindset!

I'm only 9dpo today. Apparently today is the most like day for implantation. No pains or anything yet. No symptoms really. My skin usually breaks out in 2/3 spots when my period is due which I do have. No sore boobs which I have got before AF in the past 2 cycles, but I have noticed a fair bit of creamy CM. Not sure what all this means. I haven't poas yet. I might leave it til Saturday because I have to take dd to school at 4am tomorrow for a school trip, so going to tell myself that urine won't work and will be better waiting til Saturday.

I think I'm going to be really crushed with BFN this month. It's the only month I've truly felt it could happen after getting positive OPK etc.. Another 2 pregnancy announcements this week. Cousin and friend. I think I'm in double figures now and starting to struggle to hide my misery. bastards

Ah well, hope everyone is feeling better than me!

Hope you guys are all well, been crazy busy at work recently which has helped me stop agonising about every tiny twinge. Doctors appt on Monday, all becoming v real. Can't, your dd is going to have an amazing time! I remember those 3am starts well! Sadly DH still has to do them now he's a teacher. Had one boy who was dropped off by his patents at 4am for a 2nt trip to Belgium and he wasn't even booked on it! Parents had dumped and run (ran?) so while coach had to wait while they came back for him!

Well I managed to resist poas this morning. 1 because I wanted today to be all about DD - it's funny, this morning, waving her off, I remembered why I didn't want any more kids, the stress and the worry... the hardest thing that you will ever have to do is let your kids grow up.. It makes ttc seem like a doddle haha (I bet I wont feel like that when I get a BFN!!) And secondly, because I have a certain feeling that it is a BFN. I almost don't need to test because I know. Ah well, I have a nice trip to look forward to in March which I won't be sick for so there's my PMA and will be looking forward to that. And a bottle of prosecco each night of this weekend!!

Thanks for the reply Glendathegoodwitch. I'm genuinely pleased for her but it has just made me feel a little heart broken that it's not us yet. My AF is due end of the week. I have no intention of testing till its late but I haven't had any symptoms so I'm not getting my hopes up.
