Wanting to start TTC DC2, but not TOTM for 4 months??

I haven't had my TOTM for 4 months. Every test I've done has come back negative.

I've had several chats with my GP who has dismissed my concerns and said "it's nothing to worry about/ they'll come back in their own time" etc, so I don't think he's taking me very seriously.

Has anyone had any experience of similar? Any advice would be very gratefully received x

Apologies if I've put this in the wrong place

Hi,

Have you done everything differently in the past 4 months? Have you come off birth control? Have you been breastfeeding? Any medications? what are your cycles usually like?

All things that may affect your cycle?

I've thought about all of those... No meds, birth control or breastfeeding. I'm usually like clockwork on the 1st/2nd of each month.

I've been wracking my brain, but there's nothing I can think of that could be causing it.

Are you stressed about ttc? I absolutely hate the so passive comment 'you need to relax and it will happen' but ttc worries can have a relationship with ovulation.

Have you thought about seeing another GP - maybe one that specialises/interest in gynae/fertility?

Do you temp? use opks? I'm shocked at how little I knew about my own body and cycle before I started ttc #2.

I have cycles that are usually around 90 days or more and have as far as I can remember. DD is 9 and I never thought i would have more children. I am now ttc dc2 but my cycles were causing me problems. On Day 49 of my last cycle, I began a course of acupuncture, my AF (and very strong symptoms that I never usually get) appeared 6 days later which made my cycle about 35 days early. This was after reading a lot of acupuncture success stories. There are other herbal remedies out there that can help too, but it's all down to personal preference. Have a little read and see if there's anything out there for you.
