Advice plz - 19 days late

Hi everyone,

I think I may be clutching at straws here but would love to know if any thing similar has happened to anyone else.

I had my implant out on 1st June after me and boyfriend decided we would like to try for another baby, I will list what dates my periods has arrived on.

3rd June
3rd July
5th august
6th September
7th October.

As you can see I am nearly pretty regular I do not chart or do my temp to ovulate etc I just normally have sex at least every 2 days to try get the right time frame I am currently 19 days late with plenty of bpn my last negative was 4 days ago. I did have a blood test at 9 days late but that also come back negative, what I am trying to get at is has anyone had negative blood and urine tests and still found out they was pregnant?

It is driving me crazy I just can't shake the feeling, I constantly have back ache and I had a couple days with having belly cramps but no period came.
I don't know if I should just accept the tests that I am not pregnant or maybe have some hope it will eventually go positive.

All my periods since I had my daughter 3 years ago has been regular give or take a couple of days I have never been this late.

If anyone has any advice or had anything similar to this I would appreciate if you could let me know.

I don't want to dash your hopes, but last months af was 14 days late for me, but she turned up in the end. I am usually a regular 28-32 days, the 43 day cycle was completely out of character and I was convinced I was pg!
That being said, I have heard stories of people getting negatives while pg, and my gp said sometimes in can take 3 weeks for a test to show positive.

Thankyou for replying sammy, yeh I did think I was clutching at straws a bit because I want it that bad. Next period is due next week so if it doesn't show again I will go to the doctors and find out what's happening if not I just wish af would hurry up so I can try again thankyou x

The waiting is the worst as you still have that little bit of hope. Fingers crossed af or a bfp show up soon for you. Xx

Last pill packet in May. Cycle lengths have been 29,35,31,32,42. Doctor said it can take 6 months for pill to leave system and things to settle but I'm getting some tests done anyway.

It's rubbish.

Last pill in December, cycles of 36, 28, 31, 31, 29 (I'm thinking great I've regulated really quickly!) then 52, 45 and 35 I think it took until the 6th cycle for the pill to leave my system. When I had that random 52 day cycle I took so many tests I can't tell you! Was so happy when AF eventually turned up as I hadn't had any symptoms so knew I wasn't pg.

That's how I feel choccy I just really want my af to turn up if am not, I am currently 3 weeks late today woke up this morning feeling sick, wasn't Actully sick and been really tired this week falling asleep on the sofa at half 5-6ish which isn't like me this is so frustrating! x

Forgot to add I did do a fmu test this morning on a tesco cheapie and still negative! Ahh x

I'm in a similar boat, but in my case since having the copper IUD fitted. Cycle lenght as follows:

35, 27, 32, 29

I am 13 days late, have done three tests (two Morriskins cheapies). Boots 4 Days Early test this morning with FMU came up BFN. I have been spotting for the last 4 days, mainly brown, and been having some cramps at the same time (mild but constant). Since yesterday I am going to the toilet more regularly. Very confused. Something tells me I might be suffering an ectopic pregnancy.

Anyway, I'm on a call back list for the GP today, and provisionally booked an appointment with the FP nurse for Wednesday. Any feedback in the meantime would be very welcome though!

I can't really give you any advice as I am in the same boat but I would love to know what happens at your gp today if you could update me, think I will wait till my next period is due next week and maybe try the doctors again I have some signs of pregnancy syptoms same as I had with my daughter but tests saying negative I just want to know what's going on so I can try again.
I will also keep updating and let you know if I get a postive or get af.

Thanks for your response!

Spoke to GP this morning (phone call only). I get the impression he believes I might well be PG but possibly ectopic, despite BFNs. He said to try test again (recommended the cheapies, even Poundland, because of sensitivity) in about a week. If still a BFN then to make appointment for blood test.

Thing is, at lunchtime I noticed I was bleeding. Excuse the TMI: mix of ref and brown, plus some bright red. Includes some clots and stringy bits. So not sure if AF, 1st trimester bleeding, MC or ectopic PG related bleeding.

I think all I can do for now is keep an eye on the bleeding. I can feel a sort of constant cramp type feeling, but not cramp if that makes sense. It's more a feeling of something going on down there. No pain, not even an ache. Definitely different to the normal AF cramps (which I don't really suffer anyway).

I have no kids and am not TTC so absolutely no idea what to expect or look out for. It's why I love MN as it's helped me understand some things

Well af showed up for me today at just over 3 weeks late so no idea why it came so late but on a wierd note I was in town yesterday and this gypsy came up to me and said I will find out I am pregnant just after Christmas and to stop trying so hard otherwise it won't happen so fingers crossed she is what she is . Hope you all get the result that you want. X

Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is AF now. It's been very crampy and felt bloated today, unlike normal. Also heavier than normal flow. Ah well, I suppose it is an extra two weeks of lining for my body to have to shed .

Hope you get the result you want too. From the sound of it, getting a BFP would be a very nice Christmas present or good start to the new year. Fingers crossed for you .

So, bumping this thread as my body is still not right. After my inital cycle lengths described in earlier posts (35, 27, 32, 29), AF came after 42 days on the 27th/28th of November (did a final PGT 2nd/3rd Dec with FMU, again BFN), and now again after 18 days on 15th December (cramp on the 14th). Thing is, early days were fine, but now on days 6 & 7 I am still bleeding considerably and suffering strong cramps. In fact, driving home last night I had to loosen my trousers as the pressure from my normal fitting jeans was too much. It really is being a little bitch. What on earth is my body playing at?

Acatcalledjohn...don't know what to suggest there, could be your cycle settling down, perhaps go to the docs? Cd43 for me.....still nothing
