Good morning!
Sorry AF has arrived orange. Yey to her hasty departure spinning. Is it back in the saddle time? Or did you say you were having a break next cycle? Or was that cariad? I'm not good at keeping up!

Loads of strange and vivid dreams for me last night. Octopus' featured pretty heavily Hmm. Vivid dreams are usually a sign that AF is on her way for me. But my temp is still high, so who knows! I just wish o had some symptoms to give me hope.

I hope you all have a good day.

Number3cometome · 12/11/2014 08:03

Morning, yes! Much clearer today woohoo!! Thank you so much ladies for your crossed fingers overnight for me. I hope this is a sticky little bean xx (ps, cheap ebay still saying negative!!)

Morning!

number have you done another FRER this morning?

I'm 6dpo and feel shattered. Though my prego-meter is flashing 'symptom!' I think it's much more likely that it's my toddler's 5am starts 3 days in a row.... Zzzzz.

broodylicious · 12/11/2014 08:18

Fantastic news number!!!!! Yeeeeeeeeha!!!

Found out last night one of my NCT friends is upduffed, due late May.......... With TWINS!!! Smile She text me before she emailed out to all of our NCT friends, bless her, and said she hoped she wasn't being insensitive about the announcement and that she's hoping I'm ok and that she's still very sad for my loss. It was so sweet of her. I did of course then have to tell her I got a bfp (first time I've actually typed that!! Eeeek!!) and she was so delighted. I had a vivid dream about twins myself the other night....

twinky12 · 12/11/2014 08:33

Congratulations number nice strong bfp.

Dozygirl · 12/11/2014 08:41

What's NCT broody? That's great that u could share your news too.

Congrats number3!

Cariad2014 · 12/11/2014 08:49

Congrats Number - that's awesome news!

Loving the thought of twins Broody.

It was me and not Spinning who is planning to take a break next cycle Frolic! After what happened last time (and the need for surgery), I don't feel I can risk being 5 weeks over Christmas.

Today would have been my 12 week scan, at 10.45am so am feeling a little blue. My BFF (who is due the day after I would have been has hers tomorrow - she had a scan last week but they realised that her dates were out and that it was too early, hence the need for another one). Still struggling to shake off the feeling that I'm a complete failure, but I have acupuncture later on, which I hope will leave me in better spirits.

7dpo and I have no symptoms at all other than extreme hunger and tiredness. I've never had these with my two other BFPs so can only assume that theses are weather as opposed to pregnancy induced!

WantToGoingTo · 12/11/2014 08:57

Congrats number! Another grad to come join us on the so due in July thread! Eek when is your due date?

Dozygirl · 12/11/2014 09:08

Gosh cariad that must make it so much harder having your best friend due at the same time because it would have been so lovely to have had the babies together. There is still hope for u yet tho. Hope acupuncture goes well for u and helps u to relax.

spinningirl10 · 12/11/2014 09:23

Number, CongratulationsGrin

Cariad, sending hugs to you, milestones such as scans are tough. Don't feel like a failure, you are not. Fx the new year will be your time for a sticky bfpThanks

Frolic, yep I'm back in the saddle or will be when dps in the mood! He's stressed at the moment but we go on holiday a week tomorrow so I'm hoping ov stays away until thenSmile

Cariad2014 · 12/11/2014 09:25

Thanks Dozy. When I first embarked on my ttc journey, I naively assumed that I'd be off on mat leave at the same time as lots of my friends. I'm now realising that despite my best efforts that's not going to happen. I just can't help but feel that the whole world is moving on and that DH and I are being left behind. I'm just clinging onto the hope that we will get there in the end and that it won't be like this forever.

Cariad2014 · 12/11/2014 09:26

Thanks Spinning - I would like nothing better than an early January BFP.

Frolicacid · 12/11/2014 09:34

FlowersCake cariad x

StowFrenchy · 12/11/2014 09:42

Congrats number!!
Sorry AF is here Orange...
And cariad it will happen, keep positive! :)

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 12/11/2014 09:49

Congratulations Number Smile

Cariad sorry you feel so down. I hope you get a sticky BFP very soon. If it doesn't happen this month then having a break over Christmas and getting merry may do you the world of good. Thanks

Orange sorry the witch got you.

Well 7dpo here. So far my imaginary symptoms are hunger, extreme fatigue, peeing lots and ahem wind. However, quite a few I get just before AF. I guess as I think I'm 7dpo last nights spotting could have been implantation but I've never had it before.

Number3cometome · 12/11/2014 10:00

WantToGoingTo i'm guessing 18th July!

Ladies, please don't give up. It took me 18 months to fall with DS and 4 years with DD. It's been 4 months this time round and I have been very fortunate considering my progesterone levels were so bad shit

I am hoping this one will be sticky, but just sending the message-

Never give up! xx

broodylicious · 12/11/2014 10:05

dozy, NCT is national childbirth trust. They run fantastic antenatal courses which basically get you ready for labour and birth, explaining what happens and how you can deal with it - drugs or otherwise. It's great for meeting parents to be in the same area as you and due around the same time as you so you're building a nice network of friends. We've been good friends - well, some of us - since we met and now as we approach our third anniversary of meeting. The courses (run either over so to eight weeks in the evening or over two weekends) might look pricey but I'd say they're well worth the cost - believe me, people tell you all about labour and birth but their tales are often horrific and personal to them so IMO, NCT is much better prep for reality!

Dozygirl · 12/11/2014 10:05

Well I've been to the doctors about the spotting pre AF arriving and as expected they fobbed me off. I lied and said I'd been trying for 9 months as that is when I came off the pill but wish I'd said a year now. He said they don't even look into things until 18 months to 24 months anyway! Anyway he reckons it's down to the infection I had so I've to have a swab done and then go from there. I don't agree with him at all though because I've had the spotting since coming off the pill and I didn't have an infection then so how do u explain that? Why is it such a hardship for them to just take some bloods off me and put our minds at rest? It makes no sense.

victoria401 · 12/11/2014 10:10

Congrats to the bfps! Sorry af got u orange

beautician, you are my cycle buddy :-) 7dpo here too (although app says 8, I'm sure its wrong). My imaginary symptoms are heavy boobs and nausea. I'm sure I'm bulging out of my sports bra when I put it on this morning too. 7dpo is too early for real symptoms tho isn't it?!

victoria401 · 12/11/2014 10:13

dozy you're permitted to have tests from 12months. Its a fertility clinic referral you can't get until 24months.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 12/11/2014 10:17

Victoria with previous pregnancies I've always experienced symptoms early I think a lot of people do. My chest seems bigger too DH has commented a few times. Mine could be because I've come off the pill so my hormones are changing. When are you testing?

gennibugs · 12/11/2014 10:30

Morning all.

keeping a low profile as ttc is getting to me right now.

number massive congratulations! wonderful news!!

cariad sending you un mumsnetty hugs. totally identify with what you are saying - we feel totally left behind too. We are the only ones out of our friends not pg or with babies and slowly we are being left out of stuff. Everyone has moved on. We started ttc long before some of them too. It's very very hard.

gennibugs · 12/11/2014 10:33

dozy that sucks re the tests.

Beautician I'm not testing unless I'm late. Been ttc 2 years next month.Am thinking why should this month be any different? This is just one last ditch attempt before starting fertility treatment in the New Year :-(

Just bought some ginger biscuits to stop the nausea, and because I love biscuits! :-D

Hugs genni, I know how you feel hun x
