proof how many dpo will you be tomorrow?

Blueskygirl30 · 09/11/2014 14:53

Blueberry thank you for the new thread, fab title!!

Spinning I second what Proof said. How bloody rude to turn up so early. Hopefully you'll be back to normal cycles from this cycle.

I'm being useless at not symptom spotting this month, only 3dpo and already spotted loads of symptoms!!

spinningirl10 · 09/11/2014 14:56

Lucie, I think you may be right ref ov, I had very light lines when I used an opk on cd 7 and I've had nothing since, I always have faint lines either side of ov. Oh well, onwards and upwards Grin I'm seeing an acupuncturist soon, unfortunately due to new job I've had to cancel my first appointment and waiting for her to get back to me with new date.

MrsE, you're right, 17 days is far better than 47, I'd have gone mad waiting that long!

Want, 9dpo is very early, fx for you in a few days.

Haha proof, I've told her, she ain't listening Grin fx for you.

Boosk · 09/11/2014 15:14

Phew, found you. I've been very bad at stopping by the last few days. Thank you blueberry for the new thread.

spinning!! Oh my goodness, 17days!! I haven't even managed to ovulate yet! I'm so sorry Thanks Thanks Thanks

Well done broody on your bfp. Andanyone else? I haven't found the latest stats.

FX frolicdog brings some luck to everyone who is left.

Am having a lovely sunny afternoon gardening. But I now have a killer blister on my thumb because I don't like wearing gardening gloves (stupid).

MissMrsMummy · 09/11/2014 15:30

bluesky I'm 3dpo also and got nausea plus sugar cravings! When are you due to poas? I'm 16th.

MissMrsMummy · 09/11/2014 15:32

blueberry thanks for new thread btw. Hope the thread starter luck rubs off on you!

TheProofIsInThePudding · 09/11/2014 15:32

Miss I got my positive OPK on Wednesday 29th. If I ovulated on that day I'd be 12DPO tomorrow. If I didn't ovulate until the Friday I'd only be 10DPO. Do people generally count from the positive OPK? It's just that spotting yesterday that's weirded me out! I'm just trying to do something to feel like I'm in control!

Boosk Good effort gardening! I have no interest in it (other than wanting it to look pretty!), so make DH do it! (To be fair, I do almost everything else in the house, so he needs a job too!)

spinningirl10 · 09/11/2014 15:37

Here's a link to the December bus!

December.....all we want for Christmas is a bfp please Santa!!1

spinningirl10 · 09/11/2014 15:37

Hmmm ok not a link but that's the name, I'll try again, I'm rubbish with links!Grin

MissMrsMummy · 09/11/2014 15:39

proof yes I count pos opk as ov day then next day is 1dpo.

You prob ov'd on the day of your positive or the Thurs at latest. So you'd be 11 or 12dpo tomo. Not too early to test! Not that I'm encouraging you or anything! Hopefully your spotting was implantation!

spinningirl10 · 09/11/2014 15:46

Proof, count from the day after +opk. I would try and wait until 12dpoGrin

lucieloos · 09/11/2014 15:50

Hope you find the acupuncture useful spinning, I am enjoying mine and DH loves it he has been for two sessions now!

I think there is already a December bus which has been going a while

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2199374-The-December-2014-bus-is-here-armed-with-mulled-wine-mince-pies-mistletoe-and-a-sack-full-of-BFPs

Don't know if I've done the link correctly!

MademoiselleG · 09/11/2014 15:59

Aha, that's where you've all gone!

proof I'm only 10dpo tomorrow as ff says I ovd Friday. I just posted on previous thread about all my promising but contradictory symptoms: cramping, nausea, high temp, exhaustion, spots...glam, ey? Could just all be because I haven't slept well all week though. 10dpo is too early though, isn't it? I'll probably get an inkling from my temperature, last cycle it dipped dramatically at 10dpo BUT I took soy and I, like spinning , wasn't too big a fan as it dramatically shortened my luteal phase.
Are you def testing tomorrow then??

MademoiselleG · 09/11/2014 16:02

Oh spinning - how shitty about AF!! Leave the SI alone Smile at least, as MrsE said, it was a v short cycle. Could have been worse I suppose, but still not what you would have been hoping to achieve!

Joey0805 · 09/11/2014 16:07

Spinning - that's crap. Sorry to hear that...

Lucie - such a nice post!

Has anyone seen my AF?! I appear to have misplaced it...CD36 and no signs of the little bugger (and BFNs at 10, 13 and 17 DPO mean there's v little hope of anything else going on).

Frolicacid · 09/11/2014 16:11

Wow! Fast moving thread!
I can't believe frolicdog made it into the tiltle! She is flat out after a huge walk. I will tell her when she awakes for her Sunday roast. She will be mega chuffed, as am I Grin

spinning. Balls to AF. Better than a long cycle I suppose but still utter cack. I think you are right to stay clear from the soy next time. Please stick around this bus if you can? It won't be the same without you. Where are you off to on hols? I am very jealous.

Yes, yes to all the partner appreciation. Mr frolic is a good dude and I'm very grateful to have been together with him for 13 years this week. My good friend has just got divorced and her ex is such am utter twatface. They have two amazing children and I wander every time I see them why on earth he world leave such a lovely family.

Who was asking if anyone else has taken soy? I have. Took it cd 5-8. Didn't manage day 9 due to massive migrane and seem to have had loads since. I think it's probably connected as my migraines are usually hormonal. My ovulation was also 4-5 days earlier than usual, which is good. I don't think I'll take it again due to the migraines. Hopefully I won't need to!

Only had a quick scan through, so apologies if I've missed anyone. Going to drag myself into the kitchen to make a roast dinner now.

fififolle · 09/11/2014 16:25

Thanks for the lovey welcome. It's good to see some familiar names...and BFPs on here. I parked near a car who's reg ended in BFP so in hoping that's a positive sign Smile.
I can understand the feelings of being very grateful for our DH/DPs, quite a few couples that we know have recently split and it certainly make you look more at and appreciate your own relationship.

Blueskygirl30 · 09/11/2014 16:26

MissMrs I will test on the 16th or 17th, I'm not meant to test until the 18th but if I have even the slightest hint of a bfp on the 17th I'm not going anywhere near a country with malaria so want to check by then.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 09/11/2014 16:30

Ooh new thread already. I'm off to catch up but for now

Broody huge congratulations.

I've just had newborn baby snuggles at a friends. A gorgeous baby girl. Broody much.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 09/11/2014 16:44

Spinning so sorry AF arrived but with a 17 day cycle at least it's not a huge wait to try again.

Joey I usually take between 5-7 days after AF due for a BFP to show. So there's hope yet. I have a 31 day cycle.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 09/11/2014 16:53

Frolic it was me who was asking! It did work for me. Might have been coincidental but I'm pretty sure soy had a hand. I know kitty thinks so too. But we had a similar problem in that out cycles were spiralling into eternity. Confused Obviously it's not for everyone but I do hope it's going to be lucky for you.

fififolle · 09/11/2014 16:57

Just posted on the old thread-oops!
It's fantastic to see that you've got your BFP Purple x

toothachereturns · 09/11/2014 17:13

Found you all again! I just posted on the old bus.Smile

Congrats Purple and Broody! x

Frolicacid · 09/11/2014 17:15

Thanks mrsE. I'm 6-7 dpo now and getting just a little excited. I'm pleased that I managed to bring ov forward a bit, but cannot you how horrible the migranes have been. I really hope it was worth it! No symptoms yet. I usually get quite crampy during my luetal phase but my womb is strangely quiet at the moment.

Welcome fifi.

I hope everyone is having a good day. I love this time of year. Today was lie-in, brunch, massive long autumnal walk with frolicdog and now we will have a massive roast and blackberry crumble. all that's missing is the wine

JessieMcJessie · 09/11/2014 17:50

Hello ladies, move up the bus please, room for one more? I am only on cycle 1 (2 if you count the one immediately after stopping the pill, but I don't think I ovulated till this cycle.)

I am 41 but fortunate that I seem to have a good regular cycle and no history of problems. This will hopefully be #1 though, didn't meet DH till late in life. Got a super duper fixed Clearblue smiley face on 3 Nov (the dual hormone OPK). From what I can gather ovulation should happen 24-36 hours after the LH surge is detected so I guess I am now 5 or 6 days dpo, and Ovia is telling me I can test in 7 days so the 16th. I am unbelievably impatient- find it v difficult to concentrate on much else which is a shame as I have a job to do! DH useless, when I told him that I was v frustrated not knowing if there had been a sperm meets egg moment and whether there was a little ball of our cells currently making its way to my uterus he just shrugged and said "yes, we'll just have to wait and see eh? ". He says he's not up for talking about it "till we have something concrete to discuss". He's definitely on board with the idea of ttc, but you'd never be able to tell. How do they manage to be so blasé?

I am not really expecting a BFP on cycle 1 but if this 2 week wait is anything to go by I may go a bit crazy as the months roll on...
