Ttc and flu

Dh has has a miserable cold the last few days - not sure if actual flu but enough to keep him off work. Does flu / a bad cold affect sperm, does anyone know?

I could be wrong but no one replied yet so thought I'd try & help; as far as I know diet & testicle temperature affect sperm quality so a cold will probably just affect his libido!
