I used to do them first thing in the morning but have found I got a negative result and then by pure chance did one later in the day and got a positive result. I think sometimes early morning wee isn't the right wee, although no idea why I think this!! Just remember to not wee for 4 hours beforehand. Just used them this weekend and, funnily enough, did them in the afternoon and got a positive result. Good luck!

Wait until 2.30 as long as you've been holding your urine for several hours at that point. Unlike HPTs, with OPKs you're trying to detect a specific (and quite short-lived) surge and many women find that it happens in mid-late morning, so testing with OPKs early-mid afternoon will generally be better than early morning. I used to test around 1pm but 2.30 will be fine.

Most OPKs say they should not be used with first-morning wee. The ones I use say best results between 10am and 6pm, so 2.30 sounds best for you

Hugs,
Artoo.
