Hey all
My tww starts again today. 4th cycle. Just had 2 full days of positive opks and lots of bd with dh.

So let the crazy symptom spotting begin and the madness that is the tww.

Anyone else in the tww - hoping to hear lots of bfp stories xx

How's everyone doing today? I hate the 2ww. These two weeks feel like months! Oh well heres to more symptom spotting. Anyone had any new symptoms. Also out of interest ...... What's the earliest anyone has poas. I'm a bit of an addict lol x

Hc899 - it does sound too early for symptoms really - but I have heard stories of women who swear that knew they were pg only a couple of days after ov.

Morning Hopefull - I'm now on day 33, still waiting...
I poas the earliest a day before af due - try bit to do it any earlier as it'll probably be negative anyway but I won't believe it because it's too early! Lol.

hopefull2424 · 30/10/2014 10:47

Ok ladies I need you to talk sense to me. Af is still well over a week away. Woke up this morning feeling absolutely drained. Moving seems a real effort. I feel that funny I have made a Dr appointment. But it's got to be far far to early for pg symptoms right? Ive googled out and obviously there are ladies that say they have had symptoms from day one after ov but I'm not convinced. Come tell me I'm crazy!

At 7dpo hopefully it is implantation cramping Joey.
MaGrat, sounding very good, apparently lots of women get ill in early pregnancy as the immune system is suppressed.
Sam, sorry for the BFN but hopefully it turns into a BFP soon. It's promising that you've got to CD32 with no AF.
I am a terrible employee at this time of the month. Feel like I have split personality. For 3 weeks of the month I am fine and then in the week before AF I become obsessed and overanalyse every tiny symptom. Last night I had a sudden craving for toblerone - Symptom!!

Aprilray · 30/10/2014 11:14

Oops, didn't read page 2 of the thread before posting! Day 33 now Sam, when are you planning to test again?
Hopeful, earliest I POAS was 4 days before AF was due. I tend to go a bit crazy and test early (even though I know it is likely to be BFN) and then wait until after AF is due though usually she turns up before I have a chance to test again. I think most pregnancy symptoms are due to the pregnancy hormones and they don't kick in until after implantation which is usually 6-9dpo. Extreme tiredness is definitely one of the early symptoms though so FX.

I'm on cycle 3 ttc #1, I'm 35 so hoping for a quick possitive. Ov today so the TWW is about to begin. May I join you ladies? I'm desperate for a baby but only just in a position to try. Very stressed at the moment so could do with some company :)

loopylou1984 · 30/10/2014 16:23

Hi April, I guess I'll test tomorrow if there's still no sign of af... Kinda scared to do it in case it's another neg though.

loopylou1984 · 30/10/2014 16:24

Hello hair, welcome!
Hope the 2 weeks pass quickly for you. Smile

Nightowlagain · 30/10/2014 16:32

Hello everyone! I haven't joined one of these threads for a few months, been getting pessimistic about it all. Been trying for number 2 for about 8 months, starting to feel like it'll never happen! The first one room 5 months so it's not that much longer, but I guess it seems to matter more now that we have a gap to think about, DS is 2.6.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure I ovulated yesterday and we dtd last night. It's hard for us to have loads of sex, we work nights and odd hours so it's tricky to time it right but I think we did this month, hopefully it'll bloody work!

Good luck to all, I hope we get a few positives on here x

hopefull2424 · 30/10/2014 17:51

Evening all. I'm having some major stomach cramps today and a dull ache :/

How's everyone else doing?

I'm doing ok, just demolishing a large glass of wine and wondering at what point in the Ttc cycle of drama do you quit alcohol and caffine etc?

loopylou1984 · 30/10/2014 21:07

Hi night, good luck to you too Smile
Hair - I think a couple of glasses of vino is fine, just try to avoid wild nights out during 2ww ??

Joey0805 · 30/10/2014 21:12

No cramping whatsoever today so I'm hoping my worry about AF arriving was a false alarm...

I have cut down caffeine to 1 coffee a day and I'm not a massive boozer anyway so haven't really changed on that front (a couple of glasses of wine a couple of times a week). I'm not keen to give up either until I get a BFP as it could take so lon and I don't want to give up things I love before I need to (same with exercise by the way, did a killer gym session today). As the Xmas season approaches there might be a couple of big nights out I guess but the rough plan is not to stress about it between CD1 and ovulation and to be sensible during the TWW, having lots of water etc.

Beansprout30 · 30/10/2014 21:17

Hi all, I either ovulated yesterday or today, we dtd last night and Monday and we try tonight too. This waiting is absolute torture!!! First cycle trying for us after having to put it on hold for 5 months and it feels like everyone has got pregnant in that time

loopylou1984 · 30/10/2014 21:20

Bean sprout it know how that feels - seems like EVERYONE around me is pregnant ATM!

Beansprout30 · 30/10/2014 21:24

It's so hard keeping it quiet too, whilst im happy for them I sit there thinking arghhh why is it not me!!

Not a big coffee or alcohol drinker, I mainly drink water but have cut down exercise only because I was going on long hard runs and my body felt exhausted which is probably not too good when ttc

loopylou1984 · 30/10/2014 21:26

Yeah I know, then I feel guilty for not acting as happy for them as I should. Lol. Xx

HairStylistToBoris · 30/10/2014 21:36

Joey Thankyou. That's a good framework. I don't drink heavily but I do have 2 coffees a day and sometimes a large glass or two of wine. No wild nights Sam at the moment!

hopefull2424 · 31/10/2014 07:21

I don't really drink alcohol that much and I gave up caffeine a year or so ago. But I don't think there's any harm in a glass or to of vino. Anyone ready to test yet? Xx

loopylou1984 · 31/10/2014 07:28

Morning hopefull

I'm going to leave it until tomorrow to test as only have one left and don't want to waste it. Tomorrow will be a week late! Day 34 today.

How are you doing?

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 31/10/2014 10:11

1dpo here... And the tww begins

Joey0805 · 31/10/2014 11:56

Sam - you have amazing willpower! I am impressed :)

I am 9DPO (no more cramping but no other symptoms either except, and this can't be related, my 1 daily coffee has gone straight to my head the last 2 days, waaaaay more of an effect than usual) trying to hold off POAS until 14DPO unless AF gets me first!

loopylou1984 · 31/10/2014 12:25

Joey - it helps that hubby is off at the moment so I can borrow some will power off of him too!

HairStylistToBoris · 31/10/2014 16:48

Sam I'd be POAS hourly in your position. I obsessively POAS from 4 days before my period is due. I think I cause cramping etc in my desperate symptom spotting..

loopylou1984 · 31/10/2014 17:07

I caved and bought a test while out shopping = negative
It's day 34 now, I've NEVER been this late. Confused. X
