Hey all
My tww starts again today. 4th cycle. Just had 2 full days of positive opks and lots of bd with dh.

So let the crazy symptom spotting begin and the madness that is the tww.

Anyone else in the tww - hoping to hear lots of bfp stories xx

thanks for the warm welcome! Its so hard, im really tempted to test later on this evening (not pee'd since 8am this morning so im hoping to test at 5ish and see) im due af tomorrow but i havent slept in two nights worrying and hoping. I just need to know so i can sleep. :( ovulated around 1st-3rd, so i should in theory get a answer soon!

I'm doing ok thanks Sam. Trying not to think about it too much as I just know it hasn't happened this month. No symptoms to speak of apart from the spotty chin I always get before I'm due on. Hoping that the acupuncture makes my cycle a bit longer though so fully expecting period to be late.

How are things with everyone else?

I got a high fertility result in clear blue dual hormone test today so fingers crossed I'm back on track after last months wtf cycle and I'll see peak fertility in the next couple of days! X

OPKs still positive after 7 days of testing, is that normal? I had no CM at all until today and it was CW. Second cycle after Mirena removal.

Are you using digital or the line based ones? The test line has to be darker for it to count as a positive. It would be unusual to have seven days of positives. X

Hi guys, I'm out this month! 3 days late, and it started a couple of hours after an exam for work. I've been stressing about it for the last few weeks, is it possible that it was holding on until the stress went away? Weird.

Hi all, as I'm out for this month I'm redoubling my efforts for this new cycle and have a query that I'm hoping you knowledgeable ladies can help me with. Apologies in advance if this is tmi but but I'm struggling to pin down the start of my cycle as I have heavy spotting for 3-4 days (panty pad amount) before I'm in full swing and need proper sanitary products.

Should I make start of spotting or the heavier bit my CD1?

Really sorry to ask but don't know where else to turn to and have put a BFP at the top of my Xmas wishlist! :)

Heaven - I'm not 100% sure, but would assume from the day of spotting. Only because if you're spotting then your lining is starting to shed then. There might be some more knowledgable ladies who can tell you for sure though?

This cycle feels slow already for me and I haven't even ovd yet! The 2ww is going to be horrendous! X

Heaven, my ttc app Ovuview classes spotting as the end of a cycle, and light AF as the start of a new cycle. I guess you might call heavy spotting "light" AF?

Thanks Sam and CrazyCatMomma. My BBT thermometer and mega cheapie internet tests (£2.80 for 15!!!) have arrived and am charting like mad now.

Me too heaven... Kinda makes me feel a little better - at least I'm doing something! Although I'm not 100% sure what I'm looking for yet - lol! X

My temp started to go down this morning so looking out for a smiley face soon on my OPK!

Hi everyone, I just wondered if I could join in too please? My husband and I are ttc our first child and have been trying since we were married in July. I'm now on that long two week wait and thought it would be lovely to chat to others who are going through the same thing!

I got my smiley face yesterday but so far temp hasn't gone up much... Although timings have varied a bit as dh gets up at different times each day and he always wakes me. We dtd last night (and 4 previous nights) but that's it now as he's had to go away, so fingers crossed I see a clear temp rise tomorrow!

Hi guys I am taking the plunge and joining the TTC. My cycles are always 33 days and today is day 33. Trying to not think about it haven't bought test yet as am too scared to see the result (scared it will be negative). This is only cycle 1 of TTC so god knows what i'll be like if this takes a while.

I have caved every month so far and tested early. I really thought I was pregnant last month as I had a few symptoms and then AF showed. I really hope you get a positive result! x

I have just ordered 30 Ovu kits and 15 pg test kits for £8.50 on amazon. Promised I would just go with the flow but once u decide to go for it, its difficult not to let it consume everything! I am trying meditation to keep calm and relaxed as I really think that helps.

No Armani - I'm on cd 13 and got my peak fertility result yesterday (phew as dh went away today) and used the preseed so watch this space! I haven't had a rise in temperature yet so am hoping for that tomorrow - let the 2ww commence!

Claire, I know what you mean about getting excited every month! The disappointment is horrible :(

Themrsgray internet cheapies are great... Although have caused a slight poas obsession with me!

I'm trying not to get my hopes up this time but I can't help but not! I've been using the Internet cheapies too but find the temptation too great to take an early test. I was sure I could see a very faint line last month and held the strip up to the light, enlarged a pic on my phone. I was quite obsessive. My husband even said he could see something so he went out and got me a digital test which said negative. I did another cheapie test the next day and still saw a very very faint line. I waited and sorry for what I'm about to write but I noticed brownish stuff. I thought AF had started but 2 days later and still nothing. Then the next day I started AF, lighter than normal and only lasted 3 days which is very short for me. As I had the cheapie tests I did another just to make sure (I convinced myself I might be pregnant even though I had AF!) and it was negative of course. those faint lines showed up just as the time limit was ending so Im putting it down to an evap line. Hopefully I can hold off on testing too soon this time!
