My tww starts again today. 4th cycle. Just had 2 full days of positive opks and lots of bd with dh.

So let the crazy symptom spotting begin and the madness that is the tww.

Anyone else in the tww - hoping to hear lots of bfp stories xx

Hi all, it's been a busy few days of work, chesty coughs, and asthma attacks for me, which has taken my mind of the TWW somewhat. NoArmani sorry to hear AF visited at last. I'm now on CDO 33 of my regular 27 day cycle, am a bit zitty but none of my regular AF sypmtoms and still getting BFNs. May have to pop over to the TTC after MMC board to see what those ladies make of it all.

Heaven - I have no experience of af following mmc, but I did have a very odd cycle last month. Am usually 28-32 days regular and last month it was 43! I also had none of my usual symptoms other than some really bad cramps aprox 5 days before af arrived. The girls on one of the other thread said it sounded like I hadn't ovulated hence the long cycle and lack of symptoms. Could be the same for you? Or you might be pg but hormone levels aren't high enought yet to detect. Keeping my fingers crossed for you. X

Sam - AF has finally made an appearance, so I'm out of this TWW too. Bummer! Oh well, it'll give me a chance to stock up up ovulation tests, pre seed, a bb thermometer and cheapy tests for next month. Who knows maybe we'll all get the best early Xmas present ever :) Fingers and toes crossed for us all x

Dh is away for 3 days this month so am really hoping ovulation doesn't happen right in the middle of that ??

I agree... Have a wine as you may not get too soon :) can someone give me there opinion.... My pic is lh test from tonight (bottom one) Middle is from Wednesday I think and too is from Monday .. I'm confused?!

Patiently: are those ovulation tests or pregnancy tests?

Patiently - if those are pregnancy tests (Which I think they are, usually its green for ovulation and blue for pregnancy), then that looks like a positive to me :)

If they are ovulation tests then I'd say you are ovulating today. X

Can I join you please? Have not been using contraception for the past six months but this is the first cycle where we've both agreed to actively start TTC. I have a big hormonal spot on my chin, which probably means I'm already out. However, I'm trying to stay positive. It's hard though.

Thanks Sam, read from the start of this thread so saw your story. This is really bad, but I don't know when I ovulated. First day of period was October 28th and day 12 EWCM so it might have happened then. How do you know for certain when you ovulate? Have had a 25 day cycle for quite a while but acupuncture has shaken things up a bit and it's fluctuating between 26-30 days.

Patiently any news?

MsAR - ewcm is a good indication, the only other ways to know are to use opks (not always accurate) or track your temperature. I'm temping for the first time this cycle, and apparently your temp should rise when you ovulate.
Af should arrive 14 ish days after ovulation so if it was day 12 then you should expect roughly a 26 day cycle.
Hope that makes sense?

Hi again, I am fed up! POAS this morning, two days late, bfn. Getting a lot of pg symptoms though, crampy for a few days, and I never do that. Sore lower back, lightheaded, huge boobs etc. I'm just so fed up of this. Every month obsessing about it, it's enough to make me just forget the whole thing!

Is it possible to get a bfn after you're due and still get a bfp later on? Please someone say yes!

Heyoo can i join in the 2ww? I've been ttc since miscarriage in early sep, i was hoping for a positive last month (thought i had one turns out it was a evap line after six negs one faint grey then af showed up ugh!) we're hoping it'll be a positive result this month as we've had a awful year and to top it all my grandma has been diagnosed with the big 'c' two weeks ago :( honestly this year has been the pits! Anyways i have very sore boobs, bloated on the evening and as my new hobby is peeing on sticks i couldnt help to try a early test on friday....got a very, extremely faint line within five mins.As im very impatient i tested again on sat morning and got a neg. ??? im not due till tuesday so, im trying not to get my hopes up....and ive promised my hubby not to take another test till friday so we know for sure. Its so hard and when i fell pregnant with our daughter before we lost her i had a faint pos, then four negs..it took a further week to get a bfp on the digi tests. So since then i dont really trust the tests! Anyways hope i can join and chat too. xxx

Sorry for the large ramble essay ive just wrote...ttc is hard and i find i don't have anyone (apart from hubby) to talk to. Its nice to get all the frustration/anxiety/uncertainty off my chest to like minded ladies in the same boat.

Sorry third message to nightowl...i was one week late (!) before i got my bfp with my daughter. I had a faint pos two days before af was due and negatives after that. Thought i was going crazy as i had all the right symptoms. So sometimes the little one can be a late implanter or there isnt enough hormones to read. Fingers crossed for you! xx

I'm getting some spotting now so I think af is coming. Is it possible to 'hold it in' do you think? Maybe when I've felt cramps I've been like noooo! And it's stopped again. Is that mad?

Hello all... Just started my TWW. OPKs ben getting lighter for the last 2 days.

2nd Cycle (I think - had Mirena out early October and bled on and off for 4 weeks, on day 16 of current cycle, depending on when AF shows up, if she even does!)

First baby with DH, but I have 2 DDs and he has 1 DS.

I think it is possible to delay af esp with worrying...hairstylist and rubmylamp it is so frustrating they need to invent a 'your deffos not pregnant stop peeing on a stick' stick. :D prior to ttc i thought getting pregnant would be a breeze with the worry only starting after the birth!

Welcome to the thread and I hope that you and all the other ladies on this thread manage to get BFPs soon. I have been lurking for a bit and would encourage any one else who is feeling shy to post. It's so good to know others are going through the same thing. I'm trying not to obsess too much about all of this and am hoping and trusting that it will happen naturally.
