Hi, I've been off the Depo shot for months now and haven't had a period yet (only when my injec was due and that lasted 9 days) I know it can take months even years to get periods back but I'm absolutely positive that I ovulated and the other day I began to bleed for a day and half. Is this a side effect off the Depo shot or could I be pregnant? Thanks to anyone who can help

Hi Starfish I was on the depo for 10 years.

It took 8 months for my period to come back and then months after that for them to settle down.

I had a couple of whole month periods some that didnt turn up some mid cycle bleeding etc it takes a long time.

How do you know you ovulated?

After a year of ttc we found out I wasnt ovulating even with positive opks and cramps etc I also have a regular 28 day cycle. 18 months down the line im now on clomid.
