Hi
I'm a newbie here and after any advice or insites into PCOS
I've been on the pill for 11 years and decide to stop using it in January, long cycles which have now settled around 40-44 days.
Always had the increased hair growth but weight controlled.
Since coming off Yasmin I have just started seeing lots of weight increase which ive not struggled with before.
Bloods showed some signs but scan confirmed- appears to be one ovary rather than both
Doc is sending me for referal with gyn
Bbt for last two months, last month clear signs of ovulation followed by period this cycle unsure of its pattern tbh looks like no obvious signs

Anyone had pcos diagnosed in one ovary?
Diets or advice re weight and nutrition?
TTC and bbt
Any advice would be fab

Hi mrs t. I had more cysts on one ovary than the other. But defo on both. I found o struggled with weight loss although not overweight. I ended up only losing with slimming world. I ended up on clomid but naturally conceived after 18 months. Currently 25 weeks preg!

aw congratulations!
I'm thinking about starting weight watchers again. I'm not overweight but I'm only petite and increased by nearly a stone which is making me feel uneasy and it's around my abdo which I've never struggled with weight gain in that area before x

I have PCOS, after having ddc#1 I used weight watchers and lose a lot very easily.
I'm now ttc #2 but with no sign of ovulation, I have been prescribed metformin with very little hassle and hopefully it'll work for us.
If you have PCOS you don't have to wait 12 months before getting help ttc, I didn't know this but was told on here. I'm only on the second cycle.
Good luck
