20 day cycle. Help!!

Hello ladies
I am looking for some advice. Since coming off go my pill mercillon I had my usual withdrawal bleed. I am now on CD20 having counted CD1 as first day go my withdrawal bleed and today I have started a period. It's very light and seems like old blood so I'm completely confused. Has anyone else had a 20 day cycle after coming off the pill?

Hi stella if it is old blood it is unlikely it is a proper period. Maybe you are ovulating late and this is ovulation bleeding? Or perhaps it is implantation bleeding if you are pregnant? If you are worried I would say go and see your doctor, but as it is not new blood and is very light it may not be af after all :)

Thank you. I am defiantly not pregnant as have been using protection this month until I worked out my cycle length. It seems too much to be ovulation bleeding. Frustrating as worried now my cycles are completely messed up or it is something sinister!!

Ive not had a 20 day cycle but I wouldn't worry too much it might take a few cycles to settle down. Since coming off my pill I had 26 day cycle and gradually they've got longer and now vary between 28-32 days. Id give it a couple of months to see if it lengthens a bit x
